I swore i would never give nash another penny but these look quite impressive. Its only for day sessions so not sure if its overkill. They seem quite light and go up quick so might be a better option than a brolly with sides as theres a bit more cover than a brolly if weather turns nasty. Anyone use one and have nash upped there game quality wise as everything i have bought in the past from nash has been ****. Ive probably narrowed it down to a hide pro a fast and light or mebees a solar brolly.

I recently ripped the mesh on my camo pro that wraps around the supporting poles. My fault in all honestly but I've never had that happen on any other shelter. That said I've ordered another. After readying my pioneer 100 as the replacement I couldn't get other the size and bulk. So I've bit the bullet and ordered the green version this time. Great design but not quite trakker quality.

The mesh bit did worry me as it dosent look very strong and is under lots of stress and once it goes its knackered. Not sure why they have used the mesh material.

I agree wouldn't buy Nash what about the wychwood brolly or the fox easy shelter if only for days or even better the solar brolly great reviews I wouldn't chance Nash hide tbh poor quality compared to solar

I'm sitting under a standard Hide right now, having done the night.
I think I've had it for about three years now, no problems or issues in that time.
As a lifelong brolly angler this suits me perfectly, and I love not having to use any/many pegs if it's not windy. A real plus on hard gravel banks.

Do you think the hide over kill for day sessions Andy? My other issue with it is the door looks quite narrow so you dont have much view of the lake.

Apart from a few £ I don't understand why anybody would take a hide over a titan t1. The versatility of the titan is just so much more. They setup in the same time but the quality of the titan is just so much better.
With the titan you can also completely take out the the inner dome/groundsheet and have multiple door options including completely opening them up for the full brolly experience. Without the inner dome they pretty much weigh the same.
Just my opinion anyways. My mate has the hide and the mesh surrounding the frame has started to tear within 1 seasons use.

Ive got a tempest xl for all my other needs just want a stripped back quality day session shelter. Think im going to go with a aqua dpm fast and light.

In general Im a Nash fan. My Bivvys, luggage, bedchair, Unhooking cradles etc all nash.
That being said their quality has not been great lately. My mate as mentioned bought his hide 7 months ago and the mesh is splitting. He bought a monster cradle for the elastics to be snapped straight out the box.
On my end the camlocks on the feet of my mf60 seized, my moon chair ended up being chucked as it didn't want to fold down and i bought a brand new backpack which after 1 x 48hr season the handles ripped lol.
Still like nash and the t1 camo i bought in jan looks excellent quality but my faith in them recently has certainly taken a knock

It suits my needs perfectly and can be set up to be very sturdy even in the harshest winds if need be.
I've been out in it in 40+ mph gusts and to be honest i was puckering up a bit, but it handled it fine.
I can see me using it for quick overnighters too instead of lugging the Titan.

That more or less makes up my decision then 👍🏻 Have you had any issues with the hinges rusting on the ribs as im sure i saw someone mention that theres rusted on there fast and light in a post on here.

Yes saw that one, looks good. Im really impressed with everything solar are bringing out these days. The block looks the same as a hinge on my sp bedchair which is really well made.

I had a look at one at the big one.
It's very well made but tiny (if that what you req) a bedchair would fill it

Talking to a shop owner Saturday as I need a brolly and must have internal ribs. Quality wise she said it's pot luck as they're all made in China with no quality control and the last batch of aqua fast and lights she sent back but she did say in her opinion aqua still used better quality materials than most. Bit of a dilemma for me as I also need to replace my 25+ year old aqua ultralite before next winter.

I bought the Solar Undercover brolly
not used it yet but put it up in the garden its a quality bit of kit with compact foot print 264cm x 150cm x 150cm and Weight: 7kg 10,000hh
my bed goes right to the back and all my gear I need for a 48hour fits in no bother

That one is on my veiw list but finding internal rib brolly's in stock local is a nightmare. A guy I know is a big fan of the fox ultra and has used one since it came out with no issues but the Web slate them so did he just get lucky with a good one.

There where a lot of problems with the fox ultra when it first came out but that's a while back As said it's pot luck but the solar owners really rate them

I think thats the case with most things these days, you either hit on lucky and get a good one or your unlucky and get a stinker. Just ordered a fast and light from jr so hopefully mines a good one 🤞
