I'm after a new pan with folding handle. I'd like it to be as light as possible with a good coating but I'd rather not spend a fortune. Any recommendations?
After trying a few different ones i settled on a gsi pinnacle frying pan with folding handle and its great. Not cheap mind as i think it was around £35 so might be a bit much. Primus lytech is good as well but the gsi non stick coating is better and its slightly bigger which i wanted.
Primus, will last for many years.

Thats the one i have, its a bronzey colour. By far the best none stick pan ive ever owned and really well made.

They are on amazon mate. You wont be disappointed. Might be quite expensive but will last years if you look after it.

Makes me think I need a second. Cook everything in it - ni e height to the sides so perfect for tinned curry and rice or boiling hotdogs (my two faves).

Always better to spend a bit more initially and get something that performs well and doesn't need replacing after a year. Thanks again everyone

I stopped using a frying pan just dont see the need to carry one anymore
I use a ridge monkey style sandwich cooker for my bacon sausages or eggs burgers steaks
everything else in my saucepan with a lid currys pasta soup trapped potatoes chilli etc

Ridgemonkey are hard to beat, can be picked up second hand on a certain social media site relatively cheaply.

I didn't want a ridgemonkey type thing. I was after a good quality camping/hiking style frying pan with a folding handle. I actually ended up buying a primus litech as I found one for a really good price.
