Alright is there anyone currently using this bait or has used it? ive used the game boilies by them before and they were a well put together bait. I know its expensive but was tempted to give it a go this winter due to its solubility and as I wont be ordering loads like I usually do due to fishing singles or a light scattering of baits in winter the price is not a problem any feed back would be most appreciated Thanks

The last 2 seasons I have used the optimum exclusively. I'm not one to shout about certain baits and often find one as good as the next in terms of results. But the results I have experienced while using the optimum have been superb. Since using the optimum I've been fortunate to bank 9 40lb+ fish. Without trying to make it sound like a bait plug I certainly believe it's THE best bait commercially available to purchase. Prior to this I was rolling my own bait from a very reputable supplier and could not buy a bite. I changed over purely by chance nothing changed in terms of my approach on the venue but my results have been exceptional since. With the percentages of milks in can be soft so get some hard hookers.

Thanks mate great review and seems like the type of bait that I like to use that just floods out attraction as I only get to do quick over night sessions. Im not one for hard hookers as i like to use a bit of mesh around soft baits or a bit of shrink wrap to try and stop the roach demolishing it before the carp get to it but I will probably get a couple of pots of hard hookbaits just in case. Thanks again think my minds made up and I will put in an order

They need to check the copy on the website though. The new bait has exactly the same write up as the Inception.

If you are considering Rollinbaits, I can highly recommend ‘The Game'. I've used it for the last 3 years and its caught me new pb's and some very rare ones from a variety of waters👍

I agree Andy, The Game is a great bait and has good winter form. Exceptional bait for the price if your pocket doesn't reach for Optimum.

from their FB Page - DARK SPELL

Our very own Dave Moore and the lads behind the scenes here at Rollin have worked tirelessly developing the dark spell over the last few years. Throughout this baits trial period we have been totally amazed at its ability to change results. Rollin has decided to sell this bait at a special introductory price and one that is easily affordable for most anglers!.
It is the next generation of carp baits made from an engineered base that has been specifically formulated to not only be an HNV but also have a significantly high nutritional availability for carp like no other bait in the past. Its formulation is a mix of milk, fish, marine and seed proteins that have been uniquely blended and hydrolysed. This process reduces the protein chains to short lengths making them more nutritionally available and easier to digest.
A bait we are proud to have in our range!

Full blurb for DS

The Dark Spell is a bait that has taken years of research to get right and is not made like any other bait on the market today. This process is unique to Rollin and creates 80% of the base for The Dark Spell. The remaining 20% is made up of two further hydrolysed ingredients, our own specialised additives, and binders. One of the additives we have used in this bait is a derivative of a well-known ingredient called Trigrol. We have taken this ingredient and redesigned its formulation to make it more carp orientated than pet food. However, we did not stop there because along with this we have also included in this bait a bacterial derived attractor and a product we call Carp Coke – a mix of L-form amino and organic acids, which again is something unique to Rollin. Throughout this baits trial period we have been totally amazed at its ability to change results, and now you have the chance to do the same. Rollin has decided to sell this bait at a special introductory price and one that is easily affordable for most anglers, try it and let the magic begin.

Very interested in the optimum - do people genuinely think it is the best bait money can buy? Or are the others, only marginally 'worse' and a better way to spend your money.
