I managed to pick up a Typhoon storm bivvy and matching Cap wrap for stupid money! All received and very much like a V2 brolly but with rear vents and front panel. Set it up and have Been all over it and The seams etc are spot on like my M4 2 man......

Hope you enjoy it if they used stronger poles and block system they would be a amazing bivvy especially for the price

I watched a YouTube video first to see what the first version was and then I checked with cyprinus after speaking to you to see if it had changed, which it has. The 3 poles that go to the block have big collars / thicker poles as part of the pole attachments to the block, the anti twist poles are larger with square inserts and the front 3 poles use dual thumb screws for no slipping.......the price I paid for it is ridiculous so 12 months of it being in warranty would be fine.......
I saw a MK3 F&L go for stupid money too, had to resist!!!

I won a Fast and Light Mk3 for £110 almost a year ago and its made my bivvy redundant..I coupled it up with a over wrap and its been perfect love it...

I bought one of their original fast and lights at auction. It has been great.
I was told not to worry about trying to win the auction. Just bid up to what you want to pay and if that is enough for them they will contact you after you have “lost” and offer you a deal.
I don't know if they still do this but it worked for me!

It's worth having a go with the bot to negotiate a price. Only to put in extremely low and unrealistic offers and see what amusing insults it throws at you.
Done the bot thing and got 18% off a K2 a few weeks back for over nighters.

K2 opened up today as the rain has settled and I've had time and all seems very good. No pin holes as some have suggested and seems well constructed.
Really pleased with it so far so only time will tell.

If they add sleep systems and bags, after Chrimbo in the January sales (please Cyprinus) might muddle the finances for one of those too.

Yeah it's a shame it's all hit and miss with Cyprinus. I would really like a max head room typhoon in DPM but for the risk of the zips going in a year like a brolly system I had off them, I am going to just spend a bit more and get a frontier X instead.

Well just over a year therefore out of warranty so didn't bother. Zip went on the letterbox door so it won't zip down without busting open it will only zip up from bottom.

Cyprinus F&L turned up today after getting it for £110 on the auction.
Must say I'm really pleased with it. Looks a good piece of kit, well made and functional for what I need.

Me too......what I have seen price wise is the following.
Storm bivvy going anywhere between £150 and £250.......cap wraps between £50 - £100 and skull caps £30 to £80......

I had a terrific purchase in an auction last year, a Cyprinus "Carp Carryall Xtra Large". I won the auction for £24.99, but, I did not notice at the time that there was a 30% discount off all purchases which was applied to my winning bid. My payment was only £17.50. When I bought it, I just wanted a new carryall and I was not expecting what a gem of a piece of luggage that I had bought.
The bag itself is probably the best "Carryall" style bag that I have ever had myself or even seen by other manufacturers. It had two huge pouches that fitted into the side compartments and clipped in, one with a rig board and plastic sleeves combined for storing tackle, the other sectioned off with moveable dividers for tackle etc, both "swallow" up a lot of tackle combined. The top had a large pocket with a plastic tacklebox inside, the front also had a large pouch, a large main compartment and at the bottom an EVA base with another large compartment inside. And the best bit, it stands almost as tall as it is wide so does not take up a lot of space on the floor of the bivvy.
I would more than personally recommend one and if I lost, damaged or ruined mine without hesitation I would hope that I could get another, but sadly, I have never seen them again since I bought mine and it appears that Cyprinus do not sell luggage anymore.
I have not even seen a copy or reproduction of it to buy a spare.

Today I took delivery of my Fast and Light Mk3. I must be honest. I took a gamble as you read so much different views.
To say that I am happy and impressed, would be an understatement.
I have a piece of Aquatexx (Union Jack) and this fabric is about as thick, but the Cyprinus outer layer (ripstop) feels a bit harder/less pliable. Edit: I just measured the Union Jack Aquatexx and when folded double (2 layers) it's 0,4 mm thick. The Cyprinus fabric is folded double 0,3 mm thick. I must say that I once stood by an Aqua Fast and Light and this feels just the same, but can't compare them side by side.
It comes with a pole to erect, a screw cap for keeping the umbrella erect, nice pegs, 4 rather cheap feeling storm poles (going to replace then with better ones including a quick release connection as the magnetic ones come out quickly). The groundsheet is okay, not heavy duty like Trakker and Aqua. I won't be using it, so that's okay by me. The bag it comes in is very heavy duty and better than my Nash Titan T1 came in.
I have just put it up in the garden and sprayed it heavily with a garden hose and it's waterproof (just as it should be).
I have made a load of pictures. Is anyone interested?
Overall, I am very happy with this purchase!
P. S. It beats the Advanta Discovery DPM CCX Low Rider brolly in every area I had before this (and returned).
