Other than the Harrison duplex handle are there any other decent stiff 2 piece handles out there?
I'd really like to find a reverse taper snooker cue handle, but these don't appear to be a thing any more.

Lol, duplex still on their website for fifty quid, or did you mean the reverse taper? I've sent them a message see what they say.

The only handles they make are the torrix and aviator. The website does,nt get updated .

Ahh, OK. Think it must be the torrix one I'm looking at, handle alone is £90.
From what I've found on decent carbon it's Century CQ, Harrison or Nash black ops.
Is the Nash one even worth considering?
I'd very much like a Dymag one but don't fancy my chances getting through based on what a lot of people say

Johnson Ross do a stalker net
with a 2 piece handle . Pretty sure you can buy the handle on its own. Also pretty sure it was Harrison made as well. Another option although 2 piece telescopic is the drennan 2 meter super specialist handle

Cool I'll have a look. Must say the black ops one - even though pricey - does look pretty decent.

I had a two piece handle made for me by Cotswold rods, it's made so it's 6ft long,but the top 1ft, plus speader block can be removed for fishing under trees and for carefully lifting a nice fish onto an unhooking mat without the main pole getting in the way...
It's stiff as hell the pole....! and based on the same principle as as a spigot joint...its also a Harrison blank I understand..
Cost £60...about 5 yrs back..
Lots of people ask who made it and designed it,I designed it Cotswold made it...

That was the R1 net handle . Me and Robby Malfliet had the first ever protoypes of that net handle . Great piece of kit . But I'm pretty certain they were 4ft equal sections

I remember Robbie he used to post on here a lot..
My pole was made from.a single length of very stiff carbon,I didn't want a equal length, break down ,so asked Tom to custom make me one to my own spec..
It's got reinforced carbon collars on and above the spigot,with a one foot section, which when fitted together is six feet long ..
I fished under a lot of Beechtrees and wanted it ,so the pole can be dismantled, leaving just the one foot extension and spreader block attached to the mesh,it's very ,very good..and so easy to use ..I not seen another ...even Tom liked my idea,it took six months to make and be delivered, it's also got L.P...B,engraved on the butt cap...this was the philosophy of the instigator of modern winter carp fishing ,passed on to me,before his passing..
LP ...B...in that order,you can read all about it by looking on the Angling Heritage site,or River Reads,or anyone interested in angling history ,pm me..

I popped into my local tackle shop Rovers in Fareham and they did me a belting deal on a Nash black ops net. so light, two piece, telescopic and stiff.
My first piece of scope gear and must say it's very well thought out.

I did think about one of his nets, but had one before and think they used to be pretty chunky and wanted something a little more 'stealth' like than that.
