What is the best landing net around the £30 mark please? Need something that's easy and quick to set up and that comes apart front the handle quick when have netted a carp.

No - they have better ones, but its the one that's within your budget

Saber ones are bang on for 30 pound. If I was to be really critical I would say the arms arent the most stiff but your going to get that with most nets at 30 pound price bracket.

Because NGT has been rated highly on Facebook carp groups so I wanted to know what people would suggest was better out of Saber or NGT. Is that OK? Really hope this hasn't inconvenienced you

I've been supplying the NGT nets and poles at my place for the last six years with just two breakages. They've been excellent value for money.

Like I'd go fishing with an NGT landing net..
I use a two piece NGT handle for stalking..its light and strong..does what's asked of it nicely.

I have a few NGT tackle items all have been well made and good quality
equal to other makes that often are double the price
there are some proper silly ***** that like having their pants pulled down with labels 
thats fine if the cash dont bother you
BUT!! if your on a tight budget NGT is a good option

Having bought a couple of ngt bits and looked at a few others at shows. I won't touch thier kit .

Some NGT Products are great - eg. Stormpoles . . .
As for landing nets, never really understood why people end up spending a fortune on nets . . .yes I get some like the handle to match their rods blanks etc, but if the mesh is decent, the spreader block and arms strong then better to get 2x mid range nets than 1x silly expensive one . . .IMO

I agree reg nets, although they do need to be of a reasonable quality imo, and the ngt 50 inch I was considering buying a couple of years back sagged quite a lot under its own weight whilst bone dry which put me off it . Had a couple of their bits and while some are ok I suppose, I wouldn't buy again

Yup.
I have a keenets cheap nasty floppy net that I happily use
I stuck some Aqua net floats on it and it's good enough
Only problem is not very deep.

I did the same on both lakes, but with the Sonic Varder Landing nets - 3 years on all have been fine, a few of the meshes have holes that needed stitching up, but that happens with all Nets when Piking.
My view on Landing Nets thou - is they are a destroyable item, in fact I hope to be replacing every year due to over-use

I don't know about you, but I haven't had a single grumble about the cheap nets from a single member? Lots of comments about how nice it is not to have to bring nets, slings and cradles. Which again surprised me, thinking people would really prefer to use their own gear.

I was at a lake where they provided the landing gear, and yes, the bonus of not having to bring your own outweighs the downside of using potentially cheap gear.

Nobody has bothered one iota, I presume it does depend on the cliental thou.
People who put their own ego and tackle appearance before the welfare of the stock, and in doing so also put everybody's else's pleasure at risk - would be told to jolly off somewhere else, they would never be welcome
