Guys, the back on my trakker levellite long back chair decided to completely snap whilst i was in france so im looking for a replacement.

I actually liked this chair (comfortable, very light) but i dont think that the frame is quite strong enough. I had it 3 years so wont get any good will from trakker

I ideally need a fairly light chair and i much prefer one with a tall back and arms.

Im 6'3 and about 16 stone

Any suggestions? Cost isnt really an issue

Solar sp, best chair ive owned. Also there sp bed chair is also the best bed ive owned. They are both superb.

3rd it, very comfortable and no backache for me,plus it's easy to get out off. I did think it was a bit too expensive at the start,but after using it and dozing in it,it's money we'll spent.

I finally managed to have a sit on the solar chair today and found the back to be very low (shoulder height)

Could it have been labelled as the wrong product? My 9 year old would be able to have a doze in it but i certainly wouldn't be able to

Im 6'3 and its fine for me. When i tilt it back my head is supported. Its just below my head when its upright. I dont sleep on a chair thats what bedchairs are for.

I bought a solar one after the reviews on here , the taller one
I tried a few in the store, the trakker one was as comfortable for
me, but I'm sure I've read they are not so robust
I haven't had much time to take a proper look at it , but I found the lumber support thing
has to be removed to fold the thing up
I'm over 6ft and feel I could nod off in it

Never removed mine and it folds fine

I have the fox duralite xl . For me it's a great chair . Has a high back and is very comfortable and so very easy so drop off in. Extremely light at around 3.5kg .

Yes it will fold , but I'm going to pull it up a bit to reduce the
stress on the frame , maybe in time the fabric will sag a bit

Can't it be turned on the outside or put it in rucksack or carryall that's what I do

Its not about being able to actually sleep on it, its more about the backrest being too short to actually sit on it properly.

I'll have a look at the fox one but i really dont like their gear so i may end up with another snappy trakker one

I'm not sure what their stuff is like now but I bought a chair by Chub I would say over 15 years ago and it's still going super strong. I use it for all sorts of fishing, so it gets plenty of use.

Id be replacing a trakker levelite long back chair. The back rest on the trakker went up to the middle of my head. The solar chairs back rest only goes up to about 3" below my shoulders.

I found it really uncomfortable.

Yep,got rid of my tracker “backache” chair waist of time,had a few in my years........I've settled on the solar chair,good piece of kit,mate of mine tried it,bought one next day......highly recomended,👍😎
And it folds easily with the lumber support inside

+1 I moved from a sub lo to this mainly because I'm getting old and need to be more upright. Good, light, solid chair

I had the trakker transformer version, the padding near the legs went quite early and was causing me pins and needles in my legs if I nodded off, I was disappointed for the price, really expected a few years out of this.

I replaced it with the Nash Indulgence Hi-Back and although it's not a light chair it's much more adjustable and many times more comfortable, I can still fold in the back legs in to go over my bed chair, hopefully will last longer.

I am lucky as to having a large Angling Direct close to me so can actually go and try these before buying, reviews are quite subjective.
