Delkim slimlite kit for me I love mine, I do like the jag mk2 safe liners but just prefer the delkim ones when it's really windy

I like both to be fair, but I do have a soft spot for my Cygnet pivot arms, which I mix and match with a variety of different heads, but crucially are quite stable in bad weather which helps to reduce those annoying false bleeds.
Surprisingly not that expensive either.

Solar swingers, stainless kit off, double ended swing arms with adjustable sliding weights, custom bobbins and solar line clips (matrix on one set).

Yes I use the cygnet pivot Arms as well, do the job well,I fish a large pit and no more wind bleeps with these...very cheap...
Mine are coupled with some custom kudos indicator heads and solar weights to help with the tension etc...

Use either or depending on conditions. Mine are old mk 2 Fox swingers and Korda stows. For me they cover all eventualities.

I have never understood why bobbins/chains are so popular, sliding up the line and blowing around in the wind.
My solar butt bangers are still going strong after about 20 years and I will always prefer the swinger/arm type.

I also like the solar titanium short arms. I use muddy waters heads and the solar ipro clips on mine. Change the heads to suit the situation. Not too keen on the newer titanium heads

Take a look at Defiant MPS indicators - i swear by the Merlin version, but they do a pivot arm type in the Warlock range.

Agree mate.. Bought some already.. Just can't decide to attach to arms or chains..
Im after black arms or chains so limited to what I can get.. In conjunction with black hockey sticks or black snag ears..

I used solar bobbins for years and never slept a wink. Changed to Fox Euro swingers. End of false indication. Full stop. Infinitely variable and a lovely light show when you get a run. Back drop differentiation too. Just got solar long arm indicators off here as a back up or for my nephew to use. Bobbins are ok without wind or with alarms set on low sensitivity, however why would you fish like that unless you had no choice.

Could not agree more, but I think you mean “Chains/Chords” not “Bobbins” (As you can fit Bobbins on any type of Indicator you like that has a compatible fitting)
