I work outside in all conditions,I use factor 50 on my exposed arms neck etc,..I'm on tractors,mowers,...etc etc..

Anyone recommend a good long sleeve UV T shirt,there are lots to choose from, .

The Korda one looks good ,but has carp tax I guess.

Any recommendations, I'll check out..thanks .

I use the helikon gen 2 I think it's called in summer as a T-shirt and winter as a thermal layer. Think the sets only £30 for top and bottoms.

I prefer a shirt that I can turn the collar up to protect my neck and unbutton the top if I get too hot I buy these when on offer

I'm well chuffed with it,last night was hot,muggy,mozzi type weather,kept me nice and cool..

It does look good,and I have to say I look quite smart,lol..wearing the craghoppers shirt,a lot different to a carp branded t shirt,...mind you the Navitas and British carp clothing stuff I bought is good quality,I got fed up looking like I was still at work ,wearing my work stuff..

A quick update..

I now have two of these shirts,they are worth every penny in my humble,its been hot today,a lot of UV about,. I been outside all day,driving tractors,etc,it does what it says,they look smart,as I mentioned before
.
What prompted this small update,is the mental picture of Danny having treatment,now I work near to a surfing beach,a lot of very red human lobsters 🦞, walking around with no protection..trouble ahead for a few of them..

Good to see and yes you only need to get burnt badly once and at some point in life it may come back and bite you in the arse.

Regarding the shirts to you need to buy a size bigger or are are they pretty good with the sizing ?

I would say they are generous with the sizing,I'm a large,both the shirts are slightly differently cut or styled,..

If I got an xl,it'd be a bit big I reckon..

They nice for driving ,when wearing ,very impressed with them,bearing in mind I was a shorts ,T shirt,and short socks kinda person ,thought I better start to look after myself a bit better...

I wear USA style long sleeved fishing shirts - Columbia etc etc. Quick drying but still SPF 50.

available fairly cheap on eBay etc.

I have skin cancer on my head and hands with two operations so far (nose and one ear). I have to wear a buff on sunny days now, even in the winter. And I wear sun gloves when reservoir boat fishing (no shade).

I can't emphasise enough the need to keep covered up - sunscreen and a hat at the bare minimum.

I think I prefer the Boulder Rubble,Gerry,it has a more tapered fit,and the zip up front pockets are very handy for putting small items in,it was slightly more expensive than the kiwi,I bought firstly..

I have to say I really like both,in fact I may get a third..you see when you wear a nice T shirt underneath it makes you look quite smart..you can tuck the t shirt in,and have the shirts over the top..

I can see them getting a lot of use..a great shout from you mate ....

And for the money,I don't think you can get much better,..

yes I have 2 long and 2 short sleeve Kiwi shirts I prefer the looser fit ones so thanks for that info I hate slim fit lol
I used to fish a lake and the best peg had a small puddle deep stagnant pond behind it that was mozzie central so the long sleeve Kiwi shirts were essential

beware the long sleeve Kiwi shirts advertised on Amazon for around 12 quid ARE NOT THE SAME they are a much cheaper material

the ones in my 50% off link are proper breathable a different material entirely
