What a girl, brilliant to hear her and Simon on the latest podcast, she isn't someone I knew much about tbh, knew the name etc etc via CT but thought she came across so well, down to earth no bs type and sounds like she absolutely loves the outdoors and her time on the bank.. Great sense of humour too

Yep! Agreed. Good listen. My fave fishing podcasts are the Thinking Tackle ones. All the others I just don't seem to be able to warm to the hosts or the formats.
Bev comes across really well and interesting to hear a female talk about carp fishing. Although, I couldn't help but think of those who really won't like this episode because, what does she know. She's a woman, right!

I struggled a bit with this one. Nothing to do with her being a woman. It just didn't click with me like some of the others have. I found the stuff about Carp Talk really interesting, but as I have absolutely zero interest in matches and haven't fished abroad for years that section was a bit lost on me. I've never been able to view angling as a sport, for me it's a past time/hobby. So all this England fishing team stuff leaves me cold. Nothing personal at all. In fact anything that encourages more women and juniors can only be a good thing. But I can honestly say when I'm having a siht in a bucket in my bivvy, I've never once considered it a sport.

On a side note it was a good listen, I don't fancy the competitive side of carp fishing but it showed great insight into how hard Rob her and the team worked to make it happen we need more positive role models like her male and female alike that just have such passion and dedication to what they love

I enjoyed it as well. She has (unfairly) had to approach some things with a different perspective.

turd in your bivvy! I get you, some of it wasn't as interesting as other podcasts although just depends on what you want to listen to at that time. The Danny F, Luke and Aaron podcast where they talk about rigs is a great episode imo.

One thing I did notice. For some reason unlike the last few. This one didn't start with a discussion about shaving genitalia. The sponsor won't be happy.

Must admit, all that shave up down below very quickly got boring; and coming from the cycling world where leg shaving is the norm, hearing hairy arsed anglers talking up the 'non facial grooming' made me think did they really choose their sponsor as carefully as they'd shave their nut sac?
Though I guess if they did continue the theme I might well have spat my coffee over my desk..
