The Mitchel shouldn't be an issue as they are black so it's only a dremmel type tool which essentially it's scratching away away the coating. My only issue especially if your using it, it may end up bubbling the paint or chipping away.
Had a look at the knives, depending how hard they are and also if it's all silver it may not stand out too much if that Makes sense
The cutlery is ideal as it's when you engrave it it's silver underneath so it stands out and also really hardy and would take some battering to chip.

Yes mate, exactly that. I did some spoons before but didn't realise you could buy black cutlery. Soooo much better not only for durability of items but can almost shade out

Issue with doing kettles is either me buying and then it works out like £60-70, or you post yours to me, but once postage and labour is paid it works out expensive. Also with the fox kettles (for example) as they are silver it's hard to get tonal difference.

I asked on facey about a spoon posted and it was the postage that put me off mate tbh,would postage in a small padded jiffy bag not be an option as it wouldn't £5 and still signed for.

Il look into it, but 2nd signed for cheapest is 2.60 for letter and £4 for small package, plus bag. So will only be £1-£2 cheaper max. Once youv then spend £2 on a spoon and pnp I'm making £8 for just under an hours work

You'd be surprised, amount of ppl enquiring to when hearing the price to buying is about 15:1. I think if I displayed them and ppl actually saw them, then most ppl interested would buy. Pics just don't do them justice and £40 isn't cheap but once youv paid for the cutlery then pnp it leaves around £30 profit. You can get Carplife or Rm ones but they are a generic computer produced item for below £20 (have not got a thing on mine imho) but it's cheaper.

I dont think people take into account all of them factors plus your time.I would think if you told them how much you make and how long it takes to do them,would they work for that an hour.Their attitude might change or you will still get them that say its not your job though its a hobby so should be cheaper

That's the trouble with advertising, so much time wasting. One of my clients put my number on a Pinterest type forum, I thought I'd have to change my number with all the nonsense calls for crap people could have bought from ikea, or wanted free cos they've got 200000 followers on insta

I was going to do Etsy, they don't take too much, think it's about 5% but max 10 so not too bad. The only thing that has stopped me so far is I wouldn't be able To do it custom (fish) but writing wouldn't be an issue) as it would be a nightmare having loads of diff pics ect to try and do then go back and forth to make sure it's how they wanted them. So it would literally be a set of carp and what you get is what you get type thing, they'd all be different but based on the same layout)
Don't think that would be too bad as tbf most wife's, kids ect prob wouldn't know that ‘ole c scale and Popeye' is dad's favourite fish TO put on them.
Other thing is, I don't want to bang loads out to not then sell, or other way suddenly get loads of orders and be non stop in my evening/weekends.
Basically I can't win lol. But I do agree as my bro always struggled to get me xmas fishing gifts and he said same thing, I might put it on there and get a feel for it

Il have to have a look, I'm positive the knives/forks ect set are not sure about the individual spoons (different company) I'm sure they are but I'd always clean with warm soapy water and sponge not scouring pad as that may leave surface scratches

No worries mate. I personally wouldn't put them in there and just be mindful they are coated so can chip or scratch. They say they are anti rust so I left a set in water for day when I first done a set and was fine

Just got a teaspoon done off vinniecole and I'm really impressed with what I got the detail that has gone into it is spot on can't stop looking at it its that good I don't want to use it haha will be getting a full set orded in the future buy with confidence thanks mate if I knew how to post a pic I would the look miles better in the flesh than on photo 👍👍👍👍

It is very hard to do this cutlery set justice with photographs. Despite being dark it is hard to get the exposure right and using flash is out of the question as far as I am concerned. Very frustrating. As for using them...USING THEM

Yeah Iv found you have to have the right light, the reflections are so annoying!! The only good thing is everyone that's received a set or spoons have been really impressed which is the main thing. This latest set, first time attempting it looked really good, once again much much better in person

I have just received 3 sets of cutlery from Vinnie, 2 sets mirror carp and a set of jack Russell's (the dog not cricketer) and would like to leave a review. Reviews are supposed to be **** sandwiches but there is nothing **** to write about.
A thoroughly nice person to deal with constant updates and customer care. The work he does is top rate and on time. The dogs were and 1 set of fish were for our picnic box and the Mrs said it was one of the nicest presents she has ever received She's not easy to please and definitely not a cheap date
Overall a great person to deal with, excellent work and excellent communication Buy with confidence

It's coming to that time of year again, where you don't need any new shiny rods, latest £100000 bivvy or crappy disgorger/scales/measuring tape multi utensil!
