Looking for advice on sourcing affordable prescription glasses
I've looked at Fortis switch , just waiting for a price
Although I'm reluctant to pay to much as I'm likely to break them

Glasses direct are good for price's, I've had a few pairs of glasses from them,
and they are spot on and really good to deal with,
I've not had prescription sun glasses from them though,
But they do sell them, so should have no problem

Or just try your opticians mate, see what they can offer. I got my sunglasses from there, admittedly they were dear but that's because I'm blind as a bat and therefore my prescription is expensive. But if your prescription isn't too bad, then they should be able to fix you up.

Another for Glasses Direct. I bought a pair of Oakleys with prescription for about £100. Still wearing them 3 years later.

My local optician supplied me with tints when I asked for polarised

ASDA OPTICIANS. CAME out 2nd when they had virtually every opticians. !including 2 internet ones think it w as over 30
Then sent them to a laboratory for testing the q quality and accuracy of each lens it was Outstanding glasses that cost 3times the price were w at down the list

Someone correct me if I'm wrong..
So,to get yr eyesight prescription you have to get the ol eyes tested yes?
So that means a trip to an optician for a up to date test,once you get the prescription you can buy from a cheaper source..am I incorrect?
But you may be obligated to buy from where you got your eyes tested,for a bad example,Specsavers..!

I'm pretty certain Jules Cundiff uses prescription sunglasses, maybe worth contacting him via social media and find out what he uses, he certainly get some use out of his...

What I done was I went to boots for the eye test , as I had a token for buy one get one half price, and a free eye test, cost me roughly £140 or something
Then after a while when I wanted spares, for work, fishing and home
So asked boots for my eye test results and they email it to me,
Them just went on line with glasses direct, you pick your glasses, then email your test over
I got 2 pairs for £50
I've ended up getting a few more pairs for around £55 for two,
And to be honest, there half decent, had them for a couple of years now, and no issues

I have just had two pairs of glasses from specsavers,one pair glasses and a pair of Polaroid lense sunglasses on the buy one pair get a pair free.I have since took my prescription to another opticians to get some more normal glasses as I want an Oakley frame I have seen,so yes you can take your prescription to another opticians

I Went back to the optician he agreed to fit Polaroid lenses
In grey
I also found an old pair of fortis essentials
I'll try this combination, but have asked the optician to look into amber/brown lenses
