There's a few items I need which are only available on the continent. Can anyone suggest shops they have ordered with abroad that I could use with confidence please?
I understand with the new laws I may get stung on postage etc but I can only get these bits abroad. Names of shops / suggestions appreciated.

I've also ordered from the Fishdeal website and yes good prices BUT BEWARE if you have a problem with the product sending goods all the way back to the Netherlands is expensive that can soon add to your stress levels!

Carter I ordered a product on 19th December and it landed on 12th January so BEWARE anything needed for the next week or two might not turn up in time. The prices are good and I found Customer Services responses timely BUT having to potentially send items back to the Netherlands if you have problems is not something I'll risk again, just my thoughts...!

It took 8 days.
That was during the heavy snow in the east so probably as good as I could hope for.

Thanks both. I ordered 15 days ago and according to Parcelforce track and trace it has not yet arrived in the UK. Hopefully only be a few more weeks but who knows

Good customer service from them doesn't surprised me at all.
Over the years I've had a lot of dealings with the Dutch and always found them very efficient, the things they make and supply good quality but at a keen price.
More than I can say for the over rated Germans unfortunately.
Sending anything back to anywhere will always be hassle unless it's screw-fix of course.

And nikl.cz
For hook baits when I was out there. They do ship to the UK and have some very good cold weather options in their spice ranges.
You'll need to use Google translate to navigate the web pages though

Was it Forgotten Flavours? They have been having problems sending items to the UK. I'd imagine that if they are, then others will be too. However, there are other companies able to do it.

. . .I used Fishdeal recently and there was no surcharge - comms were poor but delivery was quick!
Conversely I ordered some seemingly now rare Drennan flake punches from a Dutch tackle shop and got them delivered to my brother who lives over there thinking this would work. . .however when he sent them to me he got stung 12euros on export (ridiculous as they are a small lightweight pack of terminal tackle) . . .the most expensive flake punches available!

Fishernator are superb,I ordered two reels Thursday at 6pm they were at my door 10am Monday morning.I know another forum member got his next day delivery,no duties to pay and excellent service
