Word is that the nutrabaits smoked ham flavour is being discontinued. Lost faith in Nutrabaits a while ago anyway.
Anywhere know a good ham flavour? Tried the usual suspects, Catchit, BAF, DT etc.
Thanks

Although it's not on their website at all, give Premier a call, they may still have it as an "order only" special.

I once smelled the Solar one. Reminded me very much of Activ-8!

I agree with NW. Premiers ham was the best I ever used

Think Jason rider uses a ham flavour in his bait the enigma. Might be worth messaging him

A few years ago when I used to make my own bait I was looking for an Ham flavour and soneone told me to get in touch with Bob Baker(Richworth) and he put me onto his Boiled Ham flavour and I used it both a fishmeal and birdfood mix and did really well on it, the Tench absolutely loved it but if the Tench will eat it so will Carp

Thanks for the input everyone. General consensus was that Active8 used a ham flavour amongst other things. As far as I'm aware mainline never offered the ham as a flavour, anyone know what they used?
I know that there were other ingredients that made this bait work.

I still have some ham flavour that I bought from Middlesex Angling donkeys years ago, all of his ones were good, I'm sure Keith didn't make them, so, any old skool that went to M A may know who he got the flavours from

Yes Wayne, you are spot on there. I remember a friend of mine having a big bottle from Mainline labelled Parma Ham. It was quite a dilute flavour so he used to go high with levels. Def another good one

Alan Smiths sensible baits used to do a cured meat flavouring to go with his savoury base mix, unfortunately with Alan passing away the bait company ceased that combo was so good!
