As per the title, I'm after a decent rucksack. Does any one have any feedback on the ones I've mentioned?

The TA one would be my choice as it's very compact but can hold a lot of gear. Kinda off topic but I have the Saber rucksack which is basically the same as the TA one (minus the central compartment not having separate sections).

I've heard that the TA one isn't hugely comfortable. I have just been looking at the saber but no idea if they are decent quality.

found the TA one too small and very uncomfortable

I've got the DPM one and it's very comfy and high quality. Dunno if it helps but a mate has the saber rod bag and has had it for years!

Speero is very well made,sold mine and got the camfleck TA.I find it comfortable,you just have to get it sit up high enough on your back.I love how compact it is but can fit loads in it
I have got the TA and the ESP. I much prefer the ESP for carping. To me it's the perfect size for my carp angling. I find the TA too small and now I only use it when I go dropshotting for zander and perch.
I wish TA would make a larger version the same size as the ESP.

I can only comment on the ESP one, it's a great size, comfortable and like most back packs these days infinitely adjustable, good Zips and clips and appears after 18 months of use to be well made.
I strap my unhooking mat to it using the pre fitted straps, large tackle box in font pocket, flask and soft food in side pockets, everything else inside all in all spot on.

I have the Speero rucksack and couldn't be happier!
Well made, comfortable on your back and u can add extra bags if more space is required.
Sold my Cotswold stuff and bought it, best move ever.

I have had the ta I've said before I loved it but it's so uncomfortable gutted to sell it it's as bad as the ca mk 3 roamer I've not had speero but had the green esp and now the camo one it is the most comfortable rucksack I've every owned ta same as ca have been told how uncomfortable there rucksacks are and should have changed the design but haven't if they had I would buy another ta one as someone said you need ta to make one same as esp

sounds like any of them will suit your needs, I have the speero one and find it brilliant tbf, comfy with the option to add on if I want to take items I wouldn't use on a day/short session. I find the outer pockets well thought out for items most people use and want quick access to or first to be used on a session.

The Thing is with esp they have terry hearn and Alfie Russel helping with design so all there products are basic but functional no gimmicks I always try to look and buy esp before anyone else I wish they extended there range a little

Cheers for the feedback, I think I'll go for the speero as the modular system seems a handy thing.

Yep I have the speero one, good quality, decent comfortable harness, can add to it like others have said, plenty of room and I Iike the built in alarm and stick pocket...

I have a TA one and although it's an amazing bit of kit I have come to the conclusion it needs to be slightly bigger. For example if I'm just doing a short morning or evening session and just want to bring a flask or sandwich box they won't fit in the rucksack. Once you fill the internal pockets in the main section there is very little room left.
For me it needs to be slightly larger or the ESP one needs to have internal pockets.
Will check the Speero one out though.

Had the ta one and as much as i wanted to like it, hated it. Uncomfortable and the inside pockets were just pointless in my opinion. Would get the speero next.

The Speero is spot on and the build quality is fantastic. I had the TA rucksack twice, even re buying one after I sold the original. It just wasn't bit enough and I'd end up taking a separate bag for food and bait for evening sessions which defeated the object

I was exactly the same wanted so much two like and use the ta rucksack it was so uncomfortable I did the same had one sold it then 6 months later bought another then sold that one was gutted to sell it

I've had a few over the years like most on here. I've recently switched to the korda from the TA. I've had Aqua and Drennan as well over the years, I think maybe a Gardner one of some description as well.
So far the Korda seems spot on. It's definitely more comfortable than the TA and being a bit bigger it's a bit more usable. Early days though as it's only been out on the bank half a dozen times since I switched. But so far so good.
