My local shop have told me it was mid November, then mid December now it's gone to TBC on the fox system?

if they are anything like the latest fox bivvies I would avoid the material on the latest fox bivvies seems crap I have repaired loads where the pegging points have ripped the material seems really thin and weak, fox either need to use better material or re-enforce the way they attach the pegging points.
I have repaired loads of the fox royal over the last few months. I have also replaced loads of fox zips as they are not much better

The T1 isn't hobbit height at all.....at 140cm it is one of the taller 1 man shelters on the market.

The royale is a lower price range bivvy and a thin nylon,the Frontier is alot better material.I had a ventec fox bivvy a few years ago and it was superb,im definitely keeping an eye on these when finally come out

A carp shop here has stopped selling Fox bivvies after a lot of problems with the R series Xl, also seen problems with the retreat + leaking at the seam

I like the look of these bivvys and will probably sell my Tempest Bivvy and Brolly to fund it but I'm going to wait until they arrive and been field tested before I make a decision

I do like the look of the frontier but problem is like other is the quality of the recent fox bivvies calling them not good is a understatement, I had a r series xl unless it was perfectly flat you couldn't get the pegs in and if I didn't use my overwrap it would leak at the seams. Fox replaced it and the same think happened again unfortunately so I gave it away and bought my tempest which I'm going to keep untill something really good comes out, for me the frontier ain't enough to make me change from my tempest I love it

The Nash T1 is a great bivvy, even I purchased one regardless of me having what I consider to be the best two bivvies ever made.
The Nash Canvas and Hog and a power plus. Although I still prefer the power plus to the all out bells and whistles Titan.
The Titan is fantastic though.

One the my main considerations with any Bivvy it the dry time. The Nash Hog gets put away wet and then un packed and thrown in a corner to dry off jobs a gooden. The power plus usually causes me to have the outter skin laying around for 24 hours to dry it off. The Titan can take up to 48 hours which is a pain.
My bivvies I bought this year: Quest tackle outer block, Trakker slx v3 plus, Chub cyfish Dome, Nash Double top Mk4

Nash Canvas and Power Plus are 20 years old the Hog 7 years old all of which will out last me. Well maybe not the Hog, plastic mouldings have a short life span 15-20
Years before they dry and become brittle.
As for the Nash T1 and Fox the Nash block design is superior in its simplicity and will probably last longer. The Fox has a forced locking mechanism which will wear and fail which was my major concern and put me off when I considered one. Although I don't think the T1 is perfect and like I have already done with my Hog I'd use a gorilla tape the improve and prolong its life. Rivets are a pain and should be looked at. I had to stick a plaster on one joint on my Hog to prevent damage to the skin. And I plan on using the same tape for the T1 around the anchor points for the inner capsule.
Having thought about it I've had to sew the odd pegging point on the canvas and the zips have been replaced.
The power plus well what can I say probably the best Bivvy that has come to market yet it has its limits heavier than some and sadly no longer available. I wouldn't purchase a single Bivvy that you have purchased Tee as the PP shadows them all. Even the T1 is bulkier heavier and takes as much time to set up in its entirety (canopy included).
No offence meant, with all due respect and all. Every single angler that I've met on the bank falls in love with the PP it have everything going for it for a 2 night stay Bivvy and I've used it for the odd single night however the Hog works just fine as well.
It is by fair the warmest and coolest Bivvy I've had the pleasure to use. Yet you don't want one as I'm still on the look out for a second one.

Fox is a pure 1 Man bivvy, Pioneer 150 can take 2 bedchars, or in my case 1 adult bed and 1 junior.bed, if I go for the Frontier XD I need another 2 man bivvy for when my son comes along

Seems very poor service keeping people informed as to what's going on
Cancelled my order today having discovered that they have been put back yet again. Fox/the tackle shop have been sitting on £789 of my money since October, enoughs enough. Had zero contact and zero updates. Fox didn't respond to about 6 emails. For something to be promised in November and is now looking like 'Q1' that could be anything up to March is a joke.
Now that quest tackle comes with their overwrap, I will also pass for the Frontier / Pioneer 150 and continue with the Quest bivvy for 1 extra year.

Was chatting to a guy who runs a well known tackle shop (not naming) who said that empty containers have been turning up which were supposed to be full of gear, also because of the gridlock in the docking ports over here, ships are being turned away and go to Holland and come back which is another month.
The problem is the ports are flat out, shenanigans from chy-na, and the sheer demand for every fishing/non fishing product made in chy-na.
Ya ganna have to sit on your hands boys as this ain't Foxes doing.
I feel all weird and giddy standing up for Fox, Fox tackle is crap though...feels better man.

The only problem you have there is the fact fox are making them otherwise I would buy one, all the features and stuff are definitely a good idea but I wouldn't buy anything from fox that's worth a bit of money just the fact in my experience fox customer service are next to completely useless and the fact I've only ever had a problem with one bivvy in my life and fox just couldn't be bothered with it, from what I've seen I'm far from the only one either.
These do look good tho apart from the camo vents think the mix of camo and green look terrible together, if it was plain green that would be much better but that's just my opinion

Best give it a while to get a good idea of what the beta testers make of it as many of them will be tucked up waiting for spring to come around.

Sadly the container from Fox is stuck in a Belgium port and in quarantine now.

In recent months we have been working tirelessly to ensure that the first deliveries of Frontier bivvies arrived with our customers this side of Christmas. They were due to start arriving at our distribution centre in Belgium at the start of this week and then with tackle shops across the UK and mainland Europe by the end of this week. However, longer than usual delays at customs (caused by various factors including Covid-19) has meant there will now be a slight delay and the Frontiers will start arriving with tackle shops during the first week of January instead. We wholeheartedly apologise for this situation, it is something that is totally out of our control as we are at the mercy of the customs officials at the ports to process their backlog of containers, which we know is also impacting all of our competitors too. We thank you all for your continued patience.

That explanation from Fox won't be good enough for some people,they will have ordered it an hour ago and wonder why it's not here yet.In the grand scheme of things and how 2020 has been for millions of people around the world an item of tackle not turning up surely is not that big of a deal.2021 seems like it will go the same way so we all may aswell get used to this new covid life

Supply chain of nearly everything completely messed up. Got a couple of good friends in shipping and its a total mare atm. Its rarely good but right now its quite possibly one of the worst jobs to be in..

We are having same where I work,we are struggling to get enough stock in from our vendors to supply the stores.We are crazily busy which is great and been treated superbly throughout all this covid.

Moaning that Fox have their money and are stealing from them, why don't you make it in England, this so unexpected etc etc.

The make in UK thing is compete bo%#ocks, if they think they could manufacture fishing tackle for the same quality and price in the uk then go start a business up and see how far you get.

The make in UK thing is compete bo%#ocks, if they think they could manufacture fishing tackle for the same quality and price in the uk then go start a business up and see how far you get.
Some people have paid shops before receiving the products and are now saying fox have their money, no they don't, the tackle shop do and why pay before you get the goods? Your fault isn't it.

We're more than capable of making stuff in this country and there's many an example, Snugpak for instance?

We could not make it as cheap as the Chinese quality would be better I agree if made in the uk But look at jag the price they charge. You mentioned snugpak. How many Chinese made jackets that would do the same job could you buy for that one jacket that you pay £150
I brought British made distance sticks £45 +£7 to post them when it came to buying them the £7 postage nearly cancelled the order I thought I might have got them free delivery at least Again I paid for them then got a email to say they would be 21 days as they was out of stock

Fox told me mid January, from next week it will be a holiday here until the beginning of January and in Belgium they are not the fastest with papers, so stop dreaming of your Frontier for this year

I think you'll find most phone's are powered by an Arm chipset which is a British company who's chipsets are not far short in everything...you name it's probably fully Armed.
You can look at Jag like you can look at Apple: not knowing Jag's inner workings, it seems to me that just like Apple, they (Jag) sell their products as aspirational and charge what they think they can get away with. Aqua did the same until they sold out to China, maximizing the investor/ owner margins (if Aqua have got Investors) like it seems to be the modern way to run companies...keep intellectual property rights in the UK with very little UK based employees and infrastructure, get your product made in China = kerching £££, all the whilst fully charging the Chinese Communist Party who are an openly hostile entity as Australia are finding out right now with the CCP making demands on Australia.

The NHS has been using Chinese made masks and PPE during this pandemic. It is now increasingly being supplied with UK made equivalent products. It's not hard or needs to make products more expensive, especially for UK plc as the dole queue starts to rise. Just needs investment and a desire to do so as is being proved, maybe it's you talking bollox mate.

Me and my mate have used our frontier x now a few times and just got back from a week session at Sandhurst. The bivvy is absolutely superb and we had no issues, we had torrential rain and high winds and had no problems whatsoever. Pockets are really useful, materials quality and footprint is huge, goes up and down easy....
