not a problem an absolute bargain, I have a club ticket that's just done a 50lber for £40 quid a year as well the membership has swollen just recently.

If you do a bit a digging around the club waters have some cracking fish in them 👍
I remember doing a bit of carping up there in the early
90's during a holiday they were only small then but real stunners

The most northerly I have fished for carp is Wyreside lakes, few years ago now, above that, not sure what's about?

I was on Windermere around a month ago talking to some guys who fish that, they were telling me it does 10lb bream regular, massive shoals of roach, waters alive, stem from livebaits from the pike anglers. There are some carp too. Last year I saw an eel of around 2lb off a jetty!

I was in Grasmere last Friday, Rydal water had around 10 people fishing it, first time I've seen anybody, told me it was full of roach and pike, the majority were after the pike, I asked about carp, not sure

There are carp about Windermere Club has a few waters
also the Barrow clubs as well 😉

A 50 up norf. I only ever thought norf was full of pasto's up until now.

From my knowledge about the place need a Cumbrian postcode to join. One of the reasons never pursued it cause of that

Plenty of trophy hunters will be after that one

My biggest pike to date came from rydal !! 2nd biggest uk carp castle loch , loch maben scotland , biggest double figure bream castle loch also !! Some huge carp in windy have seen them off boat whilst piking , years of pikers livebaiting and release from the aquarium on the shore ?

Looks like the club have invested in the lakes with fencing etc 👍
As said need to be local and they have closed membership and no more day tickets good luck to them

Interesting about the carp Jeff, I suspect they won't be far from the boats at bowness for starters, bird feeding and all, saying that, how big is it lol!

Had a good chat with a few anglers, and know a few spots already, not that I will be fishing it. I one had half a day with the ex brother in law spinning, hired a boat, he was pike mad, blanked

It's my local club ticket have to live in the area to get a ticket and only limited members
Fantastic club now well run with a good stock of carp very different to what it was 10 years ago

known about your club and that carp for years, theres also some other big lumps near you,in the 40's and theres a few fishing windamere for a few years now and there has been a few 20's come out , and there was i think 1 x 30, and there have been bigger spotted at the bowness jetti

Any photos of the windy carp mate? Iv heard the rumors just never seen any evidence

£40 club ticket let's hope it stays that way. We wonder why we are not attracting youngsters into the sport when a lot of previously cheap club tickets are now starting in the £100 +bracket.

In a lot of cases the working man a bit like football is being priced out the sport these days.

Let's hope this club doesn't start equating big fish with big money.

no its all bits ive picked up on, its to hard for me, i dont have the mindset for something like fishing windamere, some of the old northern monkeys also fished it, and even some polish carpers ive heard,

how come that big carp on your ticket dont come out much its only a small water it cant be like fishing big waters eg burfield with lots of places to hide etc,

i joined over 10 years ago due to a mate having a few cracking fish from there i got a postcode from a shop i delivered to i went a few times to look and never ended up fishing and didnt rejoin .Dont know if its changed but it was a bit of a circus with lots of back biting and fish moving etc so it wasnt my cup of tea

I got sent a photo of a dead 30+ off Windermere I will see if I can find it, defo some lumps in there I know where I would fish for them but access is virtually impossible unless out of a boat! the Bream shoals are huge in there lol
