What's the best brolly system with wrap in you opinions?

tempest brolly is difficult to beat. and you can get a removable infill panel for it swell so will do everything a standard brolly and wrap will do

I got the V2 air and wrap 2nd hand.. covers all my fishing and the packdown and weight is brilliant.

You will probably get loads of answers.
I've used a few, TFG Oval with overwrap, which I found better than some more expensive brands. My current is the Rod Hutchinson Cabrio Hybrid Brolly, which has a zip on porch section.
To be honest, most brollies with overwrap still suffer with condensation, the overwrap is too close to the brolly skin, but I much prefer the lightness and flexibility of a brolly compared to a full bivvy system.
The overwrap just gives an additional waterproof layer over an oval and more protection from the elements coming towards you.

I've recently picked up a Cyprinus fast and light which is a copy of the aqua. I would not pay £300 for it plus extras, before I bought mine I was close to picking up a tempest, bigger and quicker to put up.

I have a tempest v2 and love it, but living in a flat drying it out after sessions can be a proper pain in the arse.
Currently looking at a fast and light for the quick overnighters

That is the only thing that is an advantage over a tempest. The ability to hook it off the key ring on the centre cap to dry.

I'm in a flat aswell. Best thing I've found for drying it is to connect the poles, then put it in the bath and spread it out the best you can. Works a treat. Imagine a shower cubicle would work just as well, may just need to move the fabric about every now and then

Lucky I've got a reasonable sized balcony so I spread it on there, but take an age to try in this could weather

I thought exactly this,
Until i got caught out in that serious storm earlier this year.
I had extra long pegs. Every storm pole and tension bar available was put up.
The brolly was not as solid as i would have hoped. At times the whole top of the brolly was pushed down and actually touched my head whilst lying down on the bedchair.
After the storm i found out that the extreme pressure of the wind and movement had caused screws that hold the inner ribs in place had completely just unscrewed and subsequently got lost in the grass. These screws are hard to replace.
I am still using it. I had to take out the inner tension bar and use the screws. I just cant and wont ever use it again in bad weather.

Shame, as i have found it pretty sturdy...but unless its the height of summmer, i always check the weather forecast and if the wind is getting to 25mph + ...i will take my titan instead.....but this year only the MHR has been taken and its been spot on,,,,,

Yes it was a bad decision. I am aware it was not wise. It was the strongest wind I have ever fished in so not a bad review really. Just was not impressed with the screws twisting out. At closer inspection they could be much better qaulity and better designed.
