I love buying stuff from different brands and mix and matching. For luggage I mainly buy stuff that has been discounted due to end of line. Makes Nash seem value for money if you are buying at half RRP.

Most of my kit is all different makes, I just buy what I like, and what I think will do a good job.

Taking it one stage further, I am buying rods in pairs rather than sets, forcing me to use mismatched rods on the occasions when I fish three rods. If people I meet on the bank think I am a Noddy then so much the better!

Same as that mate, the only concession I made was after too much shoe-horning faff I bought 3 of the storage bags to go with my Explorer Deluxe underbag. It does make sense.
Other than that it's whatever works best and looks like it might last, or whatever's nearest to what I wanted that I can modify.
Even my indicators are MCF Rattlers with Jag Safeliner heads

It messes with my OCD but try as I might I cannot buy matching luggage that ticks every box so i have a mixture of Trakker and Aqua.

Rod wise my preference is Harrison and reels are Daiwa, not out of loyalty though, because they are better IMO but i have owned and would use other brands.

I was always a Delkim man with alarms but have recently switched to Fox and have no regrets.

Same.Price,quality.If its worked before for me i stay with it.If I found something better jump.
Brand is just a logo and maybe extra carptax.

I've got a bit of everything, Nash, Trakker, Korum, ESP, Avid, Korda, Shimano, Ridge Monkey. It's a right old bundle when I set up lol. And that's just my luggage, all my gear is mix and match, my swingers are short arm Cygnet with Defiant bobbin and a Fox clip. Can't get why or how anyone can cover everything they want in one brand. I'm still looking for the perfect Ruckbag, so far my Avid one is the closest.

Used Aqua exclusively luggage for years but got rid when i felt the quality dropped a few years ago and switched to CA. Always stuck with daiwa for my reels apart from the odd shimmy once or twice and Harrison for my rods. End tackle i tend to shop around a bit as i find some suppliers are better at some things than others. I tend not to Stray to far from Nash for hooks ESP and thinking anglers.

Yes its the compact one that has the clips for a chair. Works great with the Nano.

I've got the avid version of the standard one, great session carryall on the barrow but too big and uncomfortable for day sessions. The chair I use fits in one of the side pockets though
My luggage is a mixture of angling intelligence, esp, korum avid and prestige.. I don't think I could have full matching luggage, I don't think any one brand would do all the items I want

I have a total mix of all sorts.

I've seen posts on facebook people 'switching to fox camo' or 'aqua black label' for luggage and changing the whole lot in one go.

The brands must be pissing themselves.

Spend the money on bait and memberships - itll make you much happier than rocking up at linear with your matching set up.

Much similar for me, cotswold Aquarius luggage, Harrison rods, daiwa reels, dymag nets, dymag bankwear, home made bobbins, nix mats, end tackle mind is a mismatch of bits that just haven't failed me so an assortment of various brands. Do try and spend money with companies that still manufacture in the uk where I can, but it's getting harder and harder within fishing to do so.

I use whatever I consider best for the job in my price range, but I'm not knocking those who like to keep to one brand, I've picked up some great second hand bargains when they have wanted a change😉😉

Brand loyalty. No way. I've got stuff from.
Shimano, Fox, Chub,Daiwa, Nash, Trakker, Greys, Esp, Sportex, Prestige Engineering, Chris Brown, Rod Hutchinson, Korda, Gardner, Trangia, Jrc, Mitchell, and many items from non carpy sources. I just buy what suits my needs and appears to be a bargain/ does the job at the time.

Having purchase products from the majority of companies during the last 30 years I would say that I have brand loyalty based upon companies that have made good products that I still use to this day.

Then again I choice particular products from them that I feel are reliable.

I have used quite a few other companies and have stopped using particular companies becaus I have felt that the products they offer are over priced and sub standard.

Usually if I get a product from a brand and it's quality is good, I will stick with a brand until I have reason to doubt it. Mix n Match winds me up also, I'm a bit OCD with somethings.

My mate changes all, and I mean every part of his luggage approx every 6/9 months. Everything must match down to the tiny tea making bags etc. Mug game, tackle companies must love him.

I used to have matching everything but somehow don't anymore.

My tackle pouch is full of ESP these days, not sure if that because i genuinely think its better gear or because of the Terry Hearn connection?

Harrison Jag and delkim also for me.

I have daiwa reels, but would buy shimano again.

Got to admit, I love the ESP terminal tackle. It's always spot on, and 9/10 times it's cheaper than the Korda stuff

I've never been let down by ESP kit for over 20 years now. In terms of terminal tackle I use a lot of their kit, a bit of Korda and Gardner and that's about it. Would not use anything from Nash or Fox but other than that I have no hard and fast rules.

Not brand loyalty but just based on multiple purchases over 25 years of fishing, I really rate....Fox. With the exception of one rod tip that snapped, I can't think of anything that has let me down. As for the rod tip, Fox replaced it FOC even though the warranty had expired.

ESP end tackle for me and Nash Twisters

Reels, Daiwa, most of my life. Now on the older Shimano Power Aeros, cracking reels.

Tracker, wouldn't touch one again and out of all the Bivvys I have owned I have never had a problem with an Aqua one, or a Nash one which might surprise a few?

i used to slag fox off for some reason, but when i look at their gear now it aint half bad. Ive just bough their R-series 3 rod sleeves for 45 quid, great rod bag.

I only buy what I consider to be good quality these days. Wasted far too much money on crap kit over the years. Mainly use ESP, Gardner and TA kit now. Have a few Korda terminal items too.

I'm the opposite of lots of todays anglers I think. I love the look of well used kit and only replace when the item of kit has died on me. I have also seen the error of my ways and just changing for the sake of it.

I fish at Linear a few times a year. Does make me laugh a tad. I bump in to a couple of guys up there on a regular basis and when they talk to me. Its all about the kit and not the fishing. Nice couple of chaps though.

Not particularly; I'll buy what I feel is the best for the price.

JRC - Bivvy (STI MKi and still going strong!), bedchair, bags, rod holder
Shimano - Reels
Greys - Rods
Fox - Tackle Box and Tackle, Alarms and Pod
Korda - Tackle
ESP - Tackle

Bait wise; I've been loyal to Solar (the old original stuff) and the last couple of years I've bounced between Sticky, CC and Baitworks; With Baitworks ticking the boxes for me at the moment.

I bought JRC kit quite heavily back in the day, mostly as it was the cheaper end of the market and I worked in the local tackle shop and it came with the most discount! That said.....the stuff is still going 15yrs+ on. Amazing really. Yes, its heavy and a bit clunky compared to the latest of todays offerings....but....a bags a bag to me.

Similar to me mate. If it's not broke don't fix it. Same as excess gear. I used to have a few sets of rods and reels, holdalls, carryalls etc. Bit of a hoarder, got rid of most of it, cant see the benefit of it all laid around taking up room, waste your of money really. Saying that I am thinking about buying a couple of specimen rods, reels and a tripod for some winter river fishing this year
