What do people use to chop their baits - I love the tactic but am looking for a consistency somewhere between what you get with a Kutta (1/2 baits) and the Ridge Monkey Crusher (crumb)

If only for small amounts how about the Krusha, can control it within reason based on number of turns and pressure applied.

That RM thing is a load of *****, doesn't really chop them it grinds the bait. Best bit of kit is a second hand Moulinex Mixer with the blade, one quick pulse and Bob's your uncle.

A generic ice crusher gives them a crop rather than the RM one that turns boilies to dust . I'm surprised they ( RM) haven't punted out a replacement plate that just allows the thing to chop

@ post #6 and #7, I have found the RM one gives you a bit of everything from crumb to lumps but if you want boilies pretty much chopped in half then it's not the right tool for the job

glad you put that as I was looking at one of the RM ones so wont bother now, the missus wont let me use the food processor, krusha takes forever, chopper is a ballache also. I guess the market is still open for the perfect all in one bulk boilie cutter/chopper/crusher thingy?

Ridge monkey do another cutter too, a bit like the korda one but 5tubes. I often put baits through it twice to give bigger chunks than you get with a crusher
The spring loaded veg choppers work well too but a bit noisy on the bank

Use to have one of them boilie chopper things years ago off the boilie chopper man on ebay come in a camo bag or green lol basically a ice veg chopper lol

still got mine, but time consuming as they get stuck all the time.
easier to use a cooks knife and a chopping board at home.

I have fun using a Spong 301 meat mincer.
Various size pieces from dust to small chunks.
I picked mine up for whatever change I had in my pocket at a car boot sale, around £3, but on ebay you could be paying around £20

The Spongs are proper mincers and grinders. You can change the size of your crumb by changing the disc on them.
It may be old fashioned and mechanical, but I don't have to worry about killing a Kenwood Chef or a coffee grinder😉
I can also crunch down prepared tiger nuts or maize to various sizes as well, which to me is a Brucie bonus.
Basically if I need anything ground Spong does it
