Anyone else having trouble contacting total fishing tackle? I've had a parcel go missing and have been messaging them for 6 days via Facebook now without so much as a reply. I appreciate they are in show season but they are still finding the time to update their Facebook page several times a day.

I've tried contacting the courier direct without much luck. They have said the driver said he left it outside and their geo codes match his location? I've not had a slip through the door and had already checked with my immediate neighbours so it appears my parcel is missing.

Im starting to become annoyed as it is not a cheap item that is missing. Its difficult for me to ring them when I am at work so I guess I will just have to wait it out until the weekend to ring them but hopefully they will actually check their inbox in the mean time.

I messaged them on ebay last week about a problem of my own making didn't get a reply so phoned them and had it sorted straight away. Not much help if it is difficult to ring but it was definitely the best way.

What is the fascination of contacting via facebook and the likes.

Got a problem, speak to someone in person rather than hoping your message is seen through 100s of messages that they must get daily.

Give them a ring and see if they can help.

Had problems with them myself and refuse to use them now. Far to quick taking your money and then ignoring you.

What is the fascination with not reading someone's post and jumping to conclusions? When their operating times are inside of my working day it can be difficult to contact via phone. It takes all of 30seconds to write a message, some people simply don't have the time to ring during the day.

As I stated, come the weekend I am in a position to ring. I gave them the benefit of the doubt this weekend just gone because I knew they were doing a show.

My mate had exactly the same problem as you mate with a set of alarms. They Said they were delivered and left on his door step but no card and no alarms. After a lot of Argo he eventually got his money back.

The problem with total fishing tackle is they use the courier yodel which are the worst of the worst of couriers . I had yodel leave £130 worth of goods 2 items behind a neighbours wheelie bin 2 doors up from me even know someone was in at home and they didn't even try to deliver them to me . They put a note through their door advising them what they had done luckily the neighbour bought the items up to me luckily they weren't away on holiday as I would have never known it was their . Then a week later same again I had another parcel being delivered by yodel from total fishing tackle and they did the same again . But total fishing tackle don't seem to learn and continue to use them when you phone up and complain

Agreed about the Yodel thing, had a couple of problems with items from TFT being delivered and it was Yodel being s**t. I think the problem with doing a lot of business on eBay is needing to compete with free delivery. The retailer then uses the cheapest possible and everyone gets poor service.

Also agreed about picking up the phone, although TFT are b**gers for not answering the phone and putting up a recorded message when they are over busy.

If you want to be guaranteed of having the thing in your hand I'll spend a few extra quid and go to a decent shop.

Every parcel I get from TFT needs signing for, even the £10 item I ordered last week. I'm not sure if this is a standard thing or it's because I've got the £12 unlimited next day delivery, but it's Yodel that brings them. Just wondering if yours was supposed to have a signature and was left without one.

Yes mine was supposed to be signed for all the orders I get from total fishing tackle delivered by yodel are down as signed for. Trouble with yodel and my hermes its well known for them to fraudulently sign people signature and just leave the parcel on people's door step they are one of worst of the courier companies around along side my hermes

Common trends here and the fact that they use Yodel is the reason why they are low down on my list of companies to use, and I have told them that over the phone whilst they were sorting out a delivery issue where my son's reels went AWOL. TFT were very good at trying to help and did send out replacements for me but the fact that there was this issue, and not for the first time is why I will try to avoid using them.

I appreciate your issue with the phone opening hours but I found that email or direct message you do not get a reply but when you phone and get through to someone they tend to be very useful so making the time to call is worth it. Still wish they ditched Yodel as clearly they get enough negative feedback based on this thread alone

Glad to hear that the issues do get sorted, eventually. I really wasn't sure what the next step was as Yodel are saying it's delivered and they have basically said they have sided with the driver. I have looked and my parcel also should have been signed for so I hope I don't have too much hassle getting a replacement delivered 🤞

I had an absolute nightmare dealing with them. Long story short I purchased some rods from them, not cheap ones either, one of which was damaged slightly. After trying to offer me a discount to keep it they eventually excepted I wanted it changed. I sent it back via their chosen method, two weeks later they hadn't received it (apparently) and then a couple of weeks after that they sent me the exact same rod back. Safe to say I'll be avoiding them from now on

Only problem I've had with them they dealt with straight away no hassle. And I must admit my local yodel driver must be a one off his really good. I know that's a one off as I've heard so many bad stories about them

They was useless for me. Mucked up 3 very simple order on eBay, was a pain in the arse to sort out. I asked how they could mess up 3 very simple orders, my answer was a refund and blocked of buying from them on eBay 🤷‍♂️ ****heads

How did you pay?
If it was a credit card or Paypal it's probably worth contacting them to see if they will get involved on your behalf.

4 months to sort a bivvy wrap bag out, I had to just kept phoning up and asking to speak to the same person, as the 1st couple of calls all I was getting from them was let me try and find out what's going on and I'll ring you back.
Guess what ? No return call
Then Kept saying they had to wait to a new bag come in from the manufacture ( Aqua) after agreeing for me just to send bag back instead of the full wrap.
Me thinking they would have just swapped it with one they had in stock, how wrong thinking something would be so simple.
Thought I'd ring Aqua after a month or two but.

The Fella who answered phone at Aqua wasn't much use either as said it was TFT to sort, all I wanted to do was try and find out what was going on

Never used TFT since, be well over a year now
