In everyone's opinion who makes the better bait?

Price isn't a factor as i know baitroom are more expensive. Buoyancy again I've heard both do the job it's more about who puts together the better bait?

Both good but I personally prefer baitroom think the attractor packages are better. But would use proper job if wanted to use smaller hookbaits an Hinge rigs etc as they are more buoyant althouhgt a 13mm baitroom holds a size 4 Krank Ronnie up no problem.

Got plenty of pots of both and caught on both.

More attractors and hnv ingredients in the bait room popups in general, but not sure it makes much of a difference, as they never get the benefit of actually digesting them and getting the goodness. Must be lots going on around the vicinity of the hookbait in theory though.

The 11mm PJPs are way more buoyant than the Bait Room 13mm though if leaving out for days or using choddies.

Use both with confidence.

Can only speak for proper job.

A house brick to weigh it down.

I've had both as well and the Proper Jobs could hold up a house brick just never had a fish on them
bought some Baitroom wafters last year and they are very high quality

That amazes me mate. I've had literally hundreds of fish on PJPU's.

To be fair I only dabbled with them a couple of times as I was always getting action on my old faithfuls

The baitroom pop ups are awesome, done really well on the red eye and the fizz, highly recommended 👍

Me and my boys have had a few bites on Baitroom pop ups, very well made! Doing well at the moment on Aniseed Powerlifters.

Not used Baitroom hookbaits but have used quite a few PJPU's over the past five years or so. I mainly use 13mm baits and have never had buoyancy issues (normally 4/6 hook held up 48hrs). Flavour wise I have had success with squid and octopus, pineapple & NB, chocolate malt, monster crab and some custom ones when Kevin did these.

Throughly recommended

I've had the 13's hold up a size 4 for literally weeks in the test tank. You can glug them for months and they're still the most bouyant out there.

Perhaps glass spheres in a controlled environment are used with a dedicated base mix to achieve the high buoyancy levels?

I got a batch of the matt orange banana PJPUs and they caught me fish everywhere I went but never seen them in stock again.

Spurned me on to make my own pop ups, nowhere near as good quality finish or buoyancy as PJPUs I never failed to catch!

I have noticed that the PJPU don't seem to take up a glug as much as other pop up's. My tuttis have been soaking for over a year. Perhaps if they aren't that porous it contributes to their amazing buoyancy?

Does that also mean they don't leak attractors ?

Which attractors specifically.?? Rock hard PJPU go soft during their time in the water. I have however always over glugged them but not before drying them out properly..

Imo they do take on and leak additives well, but they need to be left soaking for far longer than other pop ups.

I bought some PJPU pop ups a couple of years ago & they came with glug on them.

It threw me slightly because all the other ones I had bought from him were 'dry' so I contacted him. He said he had glugged them to give them a boost for winter. The glug soaked in within a few days. I asked him but he doesn't sell the glug.

That's unusual. I have never had or heard of glugged baits from him. Can I ask what size/colour/flavour they were mate?

I don't think Kevin does custom pop ups anymore but my customs (two types) had a small bottle of glug, they must take on flavour and or glugs as Kevin sells unflavoured versions for people to customise.

They were Roast Chicken flavour size 11mm. I bought 4 pots in white, yellow, brown & pink. The glug didn't change the colour of any of the baits. Have caught well on them.
