Just seen the price on these two items.
Nice to see some very fair prices compared to others out there at the moment who just want to pull our trousers round our ankles.
I'm in the market for a new bivvy this year and will be definatly looking at these two.

The simplicity of the bivvy i really like ... Quite refreshing
Agree on Wychwood's pricing, seems fair. Also worth mentioning Sonik's new AXS range of shelters, from memory - brolly £140, Shelter £170 and bivvy £270 I think, certainly don't appear to be having peoples pants down

Nice to see these companies charging the right price £250 to £300 is well enough for a bivvy i see aqua roving camo rucksack other day it's £30 dearer than the green one absolute rip off

Tried to look at the wychwood website to take a look at this bivvy. I'm sure it's a great bit of kit but their website is awful. It doesn't do any of their products any justice. All I could find was one front on picture. No pics of side or rear profile. Nothing to give a height comparison. No set up video etc etc.
Come on wychwood. In this day and age that's poor. Not everyone uses face book. There's no doubting their gear is quality and always fairly priced. But on the promotional side they are really falling behind the curve. That's what richworth did and look where it got them. ESP and Gardner are similar sized trusted brands and look at the quality of their videos and websites etc.

Agree fully with that, the D Ploy bivvy they released was a thing of beauty, I bought one and hardly used it as I found it just too nice to use properly
Didn't stay on sale long though which was a shame as the materials used, JAG designed block etc meant it was a great bivvy

the dealers that are selling it have good pictures
I have always found Wychwood gear to be very good especially their Brollys top notch they have a great reputation

TBF, wychwood gear seems to be slightly overlooked by many, but i have found their brollies, rods and nets to be spot on.

had a look at the brolly at the big one at the weekend. Not so sure i'm keen on the hybrid pattern and the centre boss is pretty big still, not much room between bedchair and boss, can see it not suiting many people. I think if you're like me and use a compact bedchair you'd get away with not having to put it right back under the boss but I'd advise anyone to have a look at one in real life to see if the boss thing suits you

Yeah it looks great fair play. I use an MHR which has been superb so I'd buy their new stuff with confidence.

Looked at them both at the big one on Saturday and was massively impressed.
The brolly when set up with the front on is low but gives extremely good coverage and looks great, they had a very tall legged bedchair set up inside it which did make the central boss seem low but I'm very tempted to get rid of my aqua heritage for one. The brolly also only uses two storm poles even with the front zipped on.
The bivvy is great and every bit of the footprint is usable space unlike most bivvy's, the height is spot on and you'd be able to see plenty out the door with it being extended width. I will definitely be having one of these for doing more than one night but it is a conventional pram hood and does have 5 extra tensioning poles to attach so won't be replacing the Nash hide for quick overnighters.

I've really liked the wychwood products I've owned decent price superb quality I tend to look at their or Gardner's/ESPs range over anyone else's for quality per pound.
