Anyone got one of these, what do you think of it? Been looking at one for a while now and the roped midsection would help me with my back after I damaged my back in January so need a firm bed.

I looked very closely at these when my old Wychwood Tactical died (I too like a firm bed). I tried the Superlite out down the local tackle shop but ended up going for another Tactical as it was firmer, lighter, and cheaper.

I've been using one for a year or more and rate it highly. I use it with a self inflating mattress underneath and find it very comfy. It's narrower than I was used to but I soon got accustomed to it and the narrower width makes it easier to handle. It's light as well. Big thumbs up from me.

Any reason you decided not to get the trakker one? Or was it just because of the bits you stated? What one did u get instead mate?

I'm the same bud Ian use to a wide bedchair but one something narrower in my bivvy, my over one is to big and takes up way to much room, also it's getting old now and isn't doing my back any good being loose

I went for another Wychwood Tactical mate. Don't get me wrong the Superlite was pukka, but not as firm, light, or cheap as the Tactical.

The wychwood is not as good quality as the trakker tbh

Fair enough mate I'll have a looks at it then, can you pack it away with the sleeping bag attached?

See I'm 6ft3 and average build so I'll have to try it out then

I'm F601, of large build. The rlx superlite fits me fine, I use it with a snugpak bag. I fit the bag, pillow, table and chair in it folded up easy 👍

I've got one perfect so light too also don't buy the trakker bigsnooze compact I'm not fat and there isn't enough room in it if that makes sense

I have a Trakker Superlite 6, Whychwood Tactical and JRC Stealth X-Lite .... The Trakker is full size and amazingly light for its size and very comfortable with a SIM on top. Only reason i dont use it more is i prefer a smaller bedchair

Everyone has a different physiology...but I found the Cyprinus tactical alike caused me some bodily damage..or exacerbated an underlying problem I didn't know I had..

Because I sat up to hit a take,and the firm lumbar support didn't give at all,it caused a massive internal tear in my inner core,six months off work,no fishing,no Haiths stuff and so on..

So anyone with a lumbar issue be aware...because if it can happen to me,it could happen to another,id also ad I'm a very fit chap...and it never crossed my mind,now I have an injury for life caused by a bedchair..👀

Bloody hell you alright now? Hope that doesn't happen to me, I have a bad back I do a lot of weight lifting and I managed to rip a muscle off my spine from just getting off the sofa in the gym waiting room. Like you I had to have a lot of time off work n fishing but I went back to work after a few months. My current bedchair seems to ache my back a lot and I thought the lumbar support would help.

I have this same Trakker bed, I find it very comfortable but there is one annoying gripe, which is probably my fault. I use the bed with the trakker 365 bag (not the compact one), and it's almost just too big for the bed, the zips pull round under the sides a little and can sometimes snag a quick exit! So, just worth, IMO, considering which bag you pair the bed up with, the bed's great, the bag is great, but not sure the two together are

Your injury also sounds bad...

Its a yr ago now,and I'm nearly better,the odd bad day..it'll never be the same though..

Anyone with a non give lumbar support bedchair,if I was you,when you get a run,do a controlled movement off the bedchair,not a superfast leap off...and use a SIM.Mine is made by multimat,and is pretty good it stays in the RT,by Avid..

No one is invincible,I learnt the hard way...lol...👎

Yeah it was bad I couldn't feel my legs for a while so was worried I wouldn't be able to walk again. I have been told by my doctor very strictly that I have to give up the weightlifting side of the gym but still carry on with the cardio side. Mine ain't the same either bud still get a few aches n pains now and then.

I've looked into online and a lot of people are recommending you actually get the non lumbar support version instead so I think I'll go and have a look at a shop and test both out first.

I have back issues too, degenerative disc and facet joint problems.
I had 3 bed chairs that all had lumber support and all 3 made my back pain worse.
I went for a RLX 6 Superlight for this season and its has made such a difference, yes its is much softer and does sag a little but I think the extra "give" in the middle really helps me.
I am big build and find it really comfortable.

My Wychwood Tactical died recently after a few years use. I've posted on here many times how much I liked it and how I would buy another but the Trakker Superlight caught my eye so I bought it.

For a sub £100 bed (Cyprinus version is cheaper still), the Wychwood was fantastic but the RLX is a league above it.

Has a much superior build quality, it doesn't feel like its going to shake itself apart like the Wychwood did.
I much prefer how the buckle system works, still clamped shut but the legs are free to move.
The legs are sturdier.
It's only 1lb 5oz heavier, I can live with that.

The buckle system is so simple on Trakker beds but it makes such a big difference. I hated my other beds which had the legs within the buckles.

What's the difference between the normal flat 6 and the super light apart from it being lighter?? I'm quite chunky and have back problems so need something reliable Sturdy and comfortable

Are the Trakker RLX superlite and Cyprinus RLX the same item ? As the the trakker quotes a weight of 6.1kg and the others is 7.3 kg ?

How good rlx is this compared to the els.

Just brought a cyprnus RLX 6 Flat bedchair of tackle discounts £49 delivered. Looks the same as trakker

The RLX Flat 6 & RLX 6 Superlite are different bedchairs. The Superlite has much shorter legs (probably where the weight saving is made in less metal). I did look at the Superlite but when I set it up in the shop, I would have no adjustment on the legs at all else I may as well have been sat on the floor! I had the original RLX 6 bed and the legs were much higher. The Flat 6 does weigh in at little over 7KG and the Superlite at 6kg. THe other lightweight bed is the Wychwood Tactical one which also comes in at same weights as the old RLX Flat 6 (6.5kg for Compact, 7kg for standard)

Thanks for the info looking for lite weight bed for a big pit, will take a look at both.

The wychwood is decent for the money. Fairly firm though but some people like that. A dab of picture on the nuts is worth doing as they have a tendency to loosen up. Don't expect it to last 10 years but it's cheap, light and perfectly adequate

Disagree & if you have a RLX 6 of either sort I will swap instantly with you! The Wychwood Tactical I have sags like hell after half a dozen sessions & I am 6' & 12 stone! No way of firming it up either as the mattress is sewn to the frame instead of using rope or elastics. I am in the process of working with a small tackle company on designing something that will tighten the material.

I have a pair of Cyprinus RLX Compact bedchairs that i use for camping and they are considerably heavier than 7.3kg. It only came to my attention when i first unpacked it and compared to the other bedchairs i have. From memory i think it weighed over 8kg but i cant be sure now as it was last year when i got them. I paid £62 each or something for mine so cant really complain at that money, They are comfortable though and not exactly heavy, however I would of been pretty pissed off had i bought based on weight as there are much lighter bedchairs around

Got a super light a few months ago and I really like it.
A nice upgrayfrom the rlx 6 flat compact I had prior.
Prior to that I had the jrc light one which was very light but I found the hand wheel
Got in the way when sleeping.
At one point I had the Cyprinus, after testing it in the garden for 30 seconds I decided to sell it.

I don't think my super light is 6kg though.

It's about 7kgs mate. I've been using one for about 18 months with a SIM and I think it's superb.

What's the chepaest place to get one and anyone got a discount code?

Best I found when UK stock was low last October was 130 with Bob co tackle who have a brilliant level of service. I would go with the 126 to be honest. Can't think you will find any cheaper.

As I read through this it seems the weight claims of the cyprinus don't match reality and that the tracker super light is not only lighter but better made than the wychwood and cyprinus too. Is that a fair summary?

I have all three ... I would agree with that, though i use the Wychwood more as i prefer the compact size

Sold my rlx compact flat and got the super light. Better sleep more comfortable and lighter.

Well I've had this for a while now, definitely a really good bed wouldn't go without mine now I love it. Perfect for what I need and very comfortable.

I've got the trakker lumber support bed ,which after a few outing has now started giving shoulder and neck pain. I like to sleep on my side and am wondering if it's just to firm for sleeping that way. My solar sp ctech did the same and was also quite firm. So I'm now wondering if a less firm bed would be better for sleeping on your side. The super light after reading all the posts in here could be helpful. Can I ask those who are using this bed find better for sleeping on your side. I've gone through so many beds over the last few years. And although some seemed great for a while were soon causing me pain while using them.

I don't know if these are still the same but I have the original rlx flat 6, I sleep on my side and like a nice firm bed, I find when my pillow gets a bit thin I'll get sore neck/shoulders so I change that regularly.
I slept on it for 6 weeks straight before Christmas without any stiffness.

Do you ever tighten the cords on the beds? I wonder if they start hurting after a while because they start sagging?

Just compare rlx Superlite with JRC lite stealth

JRC lighter and firmer but was noticeably not as wide compared to RLX stats say 4cm feels more. I found the JRC to be a lot firmer than the RLX and more comfortable. Only down side neither have a lot variation on the extendable legs to keep the weight down so the JRC has lead for me although width is my only worry.

I bought the RLX Superlite last week when my son is coming with me for a night fishing or using it myself when I have to walk a great distance with the barrow.

After uppacking the bed, I have a problem with the bed.
I fold it open, headpart first and the the lower part, but the lower part starts flipping up or when I push it down the headpart starts lifting up. I then loosend the elastics at both ends and this helps a bit bit doesn't solve the problem complete. It seems the matras is quit tight.
I noticed that when I extend the legs the problem is less. Strange??
I will take it back to the shop next week, but maybe someone had the same issue?
