Could someone tell me the specs of the 24v motor
I know there made by a company called lemac

No idea,at,all...but have a look at the TSM baits bank tank modules,powered front wheel kits,they do a 12 and 24 v fandango,what I'm saying is,he could be a good source of info...

Just looked at them I think for the whole kits it's £560 from what I read but if you do a Google Search for Lemac motors the motors on there webpage look just like the one on the carp Porter

I'm sure the motor on someone's carp Porter will have the model number on it

Can someone post the model number please?

That sounds like a more reasonable price do they have a website I can only find them on facebook also what is included in the lite version is it 12v or 24v what amp hour is the battery I wanted to know the model of the carp Porter motor because I am looking to make my own with a lithium ion battery etc..

I'll dig my wheel and motor out later, and post up the details.

I know from talking to a good few people, regarding motorised barrows etc, that the bulk of the money, is in the motor itself. They are very expensive for some reason.

Saw this the other day when buying some tools, this is actually a good price for one of these, it has either a tub, or rack to go on top, at extra cost IIRC Makita powered wheelbarrow

Cheers skear I'll have a shop around as soon as I can find out the specs of the motor I'm sure I can make one cheaper that they are currently selling at

Yes,a bit more realistic...pricewise

I have emailed TSM,with various related questions and is waiting for them to reply..

For me,anything to do with weight is paramount,so this is why I'm interested in the 12v lite version..I'd like to add,because I go very light,I have long walks to some swims,so better to angle relatively fresh and ready , rather than sweating puffing mess...
Plus's I'm getting older.......

Yes I understand all my gear was purchased with weight in mind the water I fish is 20arces with steep hills and close if not more than a mile from the car park so I think 24v motor with lithium battery will do it hopefully

That is interesting if you zoom in on the picture of the mk6 on carp porters website it clearly says lemac on the motor which power Porter is it may be a different model?

Could be 2 different motors between the 24v model and the Power Porter mk6 model but that's quite a big difference in rpm 3000 and 120

All the 24 volt PP's are the same, apart from the early ones had different chargers.
Perhaps they have different motor suppliers?

Im no expert but perhaps the rpm is linked to the gearbox speed and ratio? Anyhows its getting its first run out Friday so hope it aint like that lawnmower or me and the load will be going swimming 😳😳

Haha it will be to do with the gear ratio it will have the same torque as the lemac motor they probably just changed supplier for "business reasons" still no message back from either company I give them a ring tomorrow could be that they don't sell to the public but we'll see

Thought id share my attempt at making an electric barrow for others wanting to make 1 themselves after getting info off here. Ive managed to source everything off ebay for about £150 so is alot cheaper than buying one.

Not really tried on rough ground yet but was loaded up and did well going up abit of a hill at the end of sale water park that is normally a killer at the end of a session lol

Presuming you mean a 24volt motor a quick search on ebay and i found this one that has the same ratio as mine but is alittle bit more powerful than mine

Left switch is power on/ off
Middle one if for forward/reverse and the right 1 is the speed controller

How's the barrow going, it's a year or two on so thought I would drop in and ask.

Wanting, needing to sort one out for myself. Just been trying to find the motor you listed but no longer found on eBay.

The pwm unit you listed was a 20a. Any benefits from changing amps up a bit to say 30amp?
