Just seen this on there website and I think it's a great idea, they say it fits the composite or the brolly and effectively turns it into a two man, the video on you tube looks great and so im hoping it will fit the tempest air as I'll be keen on getting one

Does look good, I think they are only doing it in Nylon probably due to weight so will be fine on the AIR. I have just ordered the skull cap for my v2 Air, that should give a bit more shade in the heat, they seem to think everything out well at trakker, the skull cap fits with the insect panel so that's an enormous plus, looks like my wrap will be put into hibernation now !!!!

Can anyone tell me why they won't fit on the air v1?
I thought the v1 and v2 were identical apart from the poles and colour.
Gutted if I can't adapt it in anyway as need something big enough to bring the boy.

They will fit on the v1 air its states on the Trakker website the composite one fits the air model aswell

Yeah that what I thought but trakker replied to someone on faceache saying that it doesn't fit the v1
Nor does the skullcap fit the tempest v1.
Looks like it might be the 3 support poles that slot in.
Hopefully there's an easy fix as I've got tempest and air v1 and need a 2 man to bring the lad now he's old enough and don't fancy shelling out on too much new gear.

Mark ive got the v1 and called Trakker today who said it will fit hence me purchasing and I honestly can't see why not

Just back from France and loved the utility front completely transformed my air into a beast of a bivvy perfect for long sessions or if there is two of you

Pitty it looks horrible and for the price I think il just buy a 2nd hand 2man bivvy for the odd occasion I start taking my boy

I did and I'm happy with it, takes longer to put on than it does to put up the brolly but the extra room is great. I was looking at getting a 2 man bivvy for longer sessions no need now this suits me fine

Everyone probably says that. Until you actually get a 2 man bivvy, it weighs 20kg and is a right mare to put up.
This looks perfect for next summer for the Mrs, I hate having to pack the 2 man.

Does it make the tempest brolly into a full two man set up?
I.e. - will I be able to get two standard beds in to it with enough of a walk way left over.

Can fit two bedchairs easily in to a Tempest Brolly with the Utility Front fitted. I use one when the wife comes with me & a Wychwood Tactical & a Fox Flatliter Compact MK2 fit down each side with plenty of room in the middle to get in & out. The only small grumble I have is that the inner "wings" on the brolly don't roll back so have to be tucked up which means that they can flap about if not pegged down like you would in normal use. I use a V1 Utility Front on my V2 Brolly as the colour difference means nothing to me (extra camouflage).
If used as a extended front it gives plenty of additional room, much more than you really need TBH. More than adequate for a week in France or somewhere to sit on a chair out of the elements yet still see the water protected.

I agree about the wings but just poked them thru no probs.
2 Fox flatliter's straight in with lots of room....
Whilst on the bank I decided to treat meself to a 200t......
That is one hell of a beast completely different ball game!
When we tried it in the garden We got 3 bed chairs in and all the bags it is some kit for the money.
