Got to agree with this rec. I fished the main lake twice in the early 0's, it was alot of fun, but could be peggy. Lake 7, I was looking to go around 2018 IIRC, was it Mark the bailiff, talked to him quite a bit and kept my eyes on the catch reports which were simply crazy, a lot of folk don't even bother fishing the night so frantic is the action. Huge water nearby too, Lac d'Orient, you used to be able to fish if staying at the camp site on the main road, not sure if that's still the case. The area is beautiful too, shops not too far away.

OK trust me this is unbeatable for 2 people 3h 49m from
Calais Affordable venues that can be booked for just 2 anglers are rare but at Jonchery 7 you have exactly that - a venue to book exclusively for just you and a mate.

my pal and his mate went there and they had 114 fish in a week

Bounty would be first choice . Lots of action , fantastic food / facilities / bailiffs and very easy drive .

Bit further down but Mirror Image is worth a look. The couple who run it are great people and if you dont want to drive you can fly down to Limoge and they will collect you/drop you back, you can hire all the gear, they can supply bait and do an fantastic meal package.

Afternoon, i am looking to take my brother to France and get a few carp on the bank, he's still a little green behind the ears so i am looking for a runs water that can do 7 days for two anglers no more than 3.5 hours in
