Really pisses me off when the European sides get a penalty ffs, they play for them

To be fair they were the best footballing side but the Gunners did a solid job, could have gone either way that, obviously I wanted the English club

Way too soon. Got to give a bloke a chance. Yes he won the league with Klopps team but times move and new teams have to be built. If you look at the stats for the first 100 games he's ranked 2nd behind Dalgleish, Klop is way down. I like Iriola, I hope he pursues his dream with Bilboa and turns Liverpool down.

I think sacking Slot is a bit premature, Iraola lined up apparently.
Getting ahead of themselves by thinking they should be doing better, 5th was respectable.

I’ve been to the US more than 25 times, mostly business trips but have many work colleagues who live there.Since the 90s how much even long haul flight has moved on !

Tourism has been declining for years, back in the 90s to about 2013 it was relatively cheap, the pound / euro was strong and you genuinely could get bargains out of maceys etc, car hire, gas, hotels, eating out all lower than the UK.

But today that’s not true factoring all the geopolitical issues. I was there a couple of years ago on the west coast in the large malls - struggled to find anything worth purchasing.

When it comes to watching sports out there be it the hockey, football, basketball, soccer and baseball some of the stadiums are massive it’s more like an even where your whole family goes and you spend all day there not just for the match / game, the US are very good at turning them into ‘events’.
And it is a lot more expensive.

I still expect the World Cup will be a success financially but for travelling fans from uk / Europe likely mixed feelings.

I'm happier Infantino will apparently be made to eat his words

Infantino said the World Cup, consisting of 104 matches, will be the equivalent of “three Super Bowls a day” over five weeks.
