To anyone thinking about signing up add a couple of extra mounting brackets to your order only a few quid just so you can swap the unit easily between vehicles, mine is mainly used in the carp wagon but every now and then we take the misses car over on non fishing trips visiting family short breaks etc..handy to just unclip from the mount and slip it in the other motor on the spare mount.

Does the app actually connect to the tag or just show you your online account?
I suspect the latter, so no different to the website

Down load the app Joss if you haven’t already it will tell you on there about your battery status
I need to change mine soon also as it’s showing replace battery

I think it's just based on expected lifetime of the battery. I'm on my second tag now and my old one still shows on my account as battery needs replacing even though I sent it back a few years ago lol

Ive used this for some years now, very good, no hassle.
Ive just had an e-mail for battery check, Lord knows how they do that remotely

I have one that I bought last year, great idea in principal but be warned they are not fail proof as I found out in rural France at 2.00am when a barrier did not open. My limited French conversation through the tollgate machine didn't go to well and I paid to lift the barrier up with my card! strangely enough it worked at both toll booths on the way home

Had mine a few years now makes it a simple task especially if your on your own.
Just a note as of the 1st of Feb 2023 toll charges on private vehicles increased by 4.75% also fuel rate rebate stopped in Jan so an extra 0.10 cents on the litre.
