Had a Tempest go missing in the system too, had a right go at them on the phone and got them to basically admit it had been nicked from receiving depot, lucky I had taken out insurance

Met a lady on holiday by the pool and she was a manager for Hermes and parcel losses is rife with stuff going walkies

I can honestly say I’ve never experienced any problems with my Hermes and 9/10 it was always the same lad who delivered the items.

This lad hated the job he was doing and left them to work for another delivery company.

My Mrs saw this lad the other day and asked if we had had any problems regards non deliveries. Fortunately we had not ‘though I ain’t ordered anything for quite sometime’. He then went onto explain that the person who had replaced him doing the drops on the estate I live had been sacked due to taking the items for himself.

I sent something earlier this week and could've easily have used Hermes but used UPS instead. Paid for standard delivery, same price as Hermes and from drop off to delivery was 23hrs 50minutes, fully tracked as well

I Sent a tempest bivvy with hermes a couple of years ago, never to be seen again !

Lost in their system I was told but after a heated conversation with them, they agreed that it was probably stolen at the depot.

lesson learned, I had luckily insured it and got my money back in 14 days, lesson learned so do not used them any more

And you went for MyHermes?! Good luck, but I think that they will have to pay out if you cause enough fuss. It was a bed, so not on the list.

Did you buy it from an eBay shop? I would have thought it was the senders responsibility to use a courier that doesn’t restrict the item being sent? If you paid by PayPal just go through eBay and you’ll get your money sharpish

Once they get the ebay number they'll realise it's a bit of fishing equipment.

That's disgusting from Hermes.

It's a bed. Bed is not listed. Claim full RRP minus a bit so that your hassle/stress is compensated

i bought a Nash Indulgence Wide Boy of Ebay - great price. I got My Hermes to collect - which they did, its since disappeared in their system.

I can claim from them but just hoping its not on the list of Prohibited goods .. Which are below. I wonder if it will fall under 'Mattresses' or' Sofa '!

If its prohibited they wont pay out.. even though they collected. They could be one to avoid if your using couriers
