Hello all,
I can’t decide whether to purchase a tempest 100/100T type brolly for my winter day campaign or just use a stripped out tempest v2 Bivvy?
What’s your opinions on the advantages - disadvantages of using either set up?
Cheers all

I have only fished days for the last 10-15 years and on used the brolly type shelters and they are perfect for the days only. Up and down super quick and easy to pack away. I now have nights included on my ticket now and purchased the tracker brolly you have mentioned and it’s awesome for quick nights that I do, however it’s a bit of an over kill if you are just doing days. Personally I would recommend a smaller shelter if it’s just to cover yourself, a chair and a rucksack/luggage.

I use a Tempest V2 Air for all my days, and not just for Carp, really I see it as a brolly nowadays, so quick and easy. Before that it was a Supabrolly for a while, before that a few Fox Evos. I only ever use a brolly now with my seat box on platforms.
If you're thinking of a new shelter for days don't overlook the the likes of Korum, like the Day Shelter Lite, a lot cheaper than a Tempest 👍

Yeah I used the fox supabrolly for years and it was brilliant! Had a Nash brolly before which was great and cheaper.
