Thread: Bed Chair Recommendation

I've not done much fishing the last couple of years, but looking to get back back into it. As such, I need a new bed. Does anyone have any recommendations please?
Not looking to spend £100s on some mad sleep system, just looking for a flat, comfy bed on which I can sleep well. £200 max budget.
Thanks for reading

Hi all,
Looking for recommendations for a simple and cheap 2 man bivvy, for when I take my daughter with me. As long as the quality is okay and it doesn't leak, I'll be happy.
Thanks

Yes, that's the place. Caught my first 20 from there. Haven't been in over 10 years either. I've found a facebook page for them now, so lots of info on there.
Thanks

How strange. I've just Googled it, and it appears you're referring to Poole Hall Fishieries, Poole with an e, and it's not far away from it at all. I'm referring to Pool Hall without an e, which also has cats.

So I've barely wet a line in 2 years. It's been 5 years since I was a regular user of the forum. Feeling the itch again now though....
Last 2 years I've been completely tuned out of fishing media. When I see Ali Hamidi or someone smiling at me on Facebook I've just scrolled on past.
So, I was wondering if there have been any genuinely interesting bait or tackle developments in the last couple of years? Something as groundbreaking as the hair rig in the 80s perhaps? Haha probably not. I looked on the ridgemonkey website today, and they've got some tidy looking cooking gear. Last time I was interested they only pretty much had the life-changing sandwich toaster and a not-so-life changing bucket!
And hello to all the all the guys I used to interact with on here. Hope you're all well.
Tight lines guys.

So I'm getting out for the first time in almost a year next week. Meeting a mate at Pool Hall for a socially distanced social, and looking on fishing Meadows Lake. Any tips on what works on there would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter

Can you re-post the old articles from the old South West Memories thread of a few years ago? I loved reading about College Lake and could read through all that again.

I haven't looked at the Old School Angling thread for a while. Very sad to read of Pete's passing. An old school legend, I've enjoyed reading your stories. RIP.
