Standard industry tactic imo, sit behind motionless rods, tell everyone how hard its fishing and produce your latest tackle/ bait development, have it off and sell a ton of stuff off the back of it, because I wouldn't of sat gawping at a screen for that long without changing something, maybe I'm just cynical though

Couldn't find a thread on this so thought I'd give anyone the heads up, went on a impromptu trip to France over Xmas booking within 3 weeks of going, tunnel wanted £370, DFDS wanted £320 and P and O wanted £258 , didn't realise irish ferries operated out of Dover but got a van return crossing for £198 return, worth checking out if your off to France or beyond 👍

I've got 2 of these, quite heavy but are a fantastic piece of kit for longer sessions

Hi, I've got a boat and 40lb outboard thati use on my syndicate, I can drive to the swims so just use a boat to bait up and drop rigs, I bought a cheap leisure battery off of ebay for £45 around 4 years ago and it's still going now, they're probably a bit more expensive now but if it knackers now I've had my monies worth, if you're going to be using the boat for carrying gear about or mapping out swims etc I'd probably look at a more expensive alternative, if you're just using it for dropping rigs and baiting a cheap lead acid leisure will do. Worth noting I never discharge below 50% and always keep it in the house

I'm not sure if it's up and running but to be honest I think the crit air sticker is €3.5 euros , in my opinion better off to just get one , if you need to divert or anything you know your sorted.

Went to France a couple of times this year and realised my chair was not as comfortable as I first thought, either that or I'm getting older, looking for some recommendations for a really comfortable chair to lounge about on, on longer sessions so weight etc not an issue

Cheers

Never used ridgemonkey, but I can vouch for the carp spirit, razor sharp out the packet, point will bur over on a fish, so wouldn't use them on a runs water, you'll go through packets.

Can anyone tell me what the rough breakdown time is on the GPB1 and 2 is, I like to leave the rods out for 48/72 hours sometimes. And I wouldn't want to be baitless.

Cheers
