I've just looked on the official French Diplomacy website and it still states that you need a compelling reason to travel. I don't know if there is a lag to updates on the site, but with UK cases now rising significantly again with the latest variant, its difficult to see any possible relaxing of entry restrictions for the UK being long lived...
Who knows, the situation changes so quickly is impossible to second guess. I now hold no realistic hopes of going to France this year, on terms that are acceptable to me.

I know its unlikely, but I would still like to know what happens/where you go if you test positive on your covid test to return to the UK. Anyone know?

A question...
If you are at a French lake and have the required PCR test a couple of days before you come back to England- and that test then comes back Positive.... What is the position? Where do you then go to presumably quarantine for xx days? What is the cost?

|m back out this weekend and don't see any problems with travel, as long as the infection rates, county vs country, are not massively apart.

I came back Friday and they checked our locator forms and the those in the motors in front of us... The border people also phoned me on Saturday to confirm I knew the quarantine rules...They have phoned me each time I have been out while quarantine rules are in place (3).
Maybe I just look dodgy...

Replies appreciated.
This is for UK residents, not French residents?
Which helpline is this?
Thanks

Question please- I'm a UK resident. - If I have 2 trips to France and they are separated by one week back in the UK. Is that possible? Or do I have to do 2 weeks quarantine in UK after the first trip and therefore lose the second trip? Or is the quarantine just for the duration of my stay back in the UK?
Obvious solution I know is to stay in France for the middle week, but that's not an option for most...
Any factual answers rather than any supposition would be appreciated...
Thanks

Me and my mate were lucky enough to be the first out for an extended session, after the border opened a few weeks back. We caught a lot of fish and we used a lot of bait, both the lake particles and malibu boilies. If they are up for it give them plenty... We caught from both open water and far bank, the fish tend to show a lot or colour the water up to give you a clue where to fish...
Listen to Nick the Fishery Manager, he is a good angler and well sound. He knows the place inside out and will be happy to advise I'm sure.
