Hi All
Im middle age old school and never used (or wanted to use one) and still blow the dust off a Hutchy weigh sling when i very infrequently catch! Rules on new water dictate i need a floating retainer type sling under the net to move the fish!
What do you guys recommend..cheap NGT jobbie or something else?

Have a look at the Saber - Floating Weighing Sling. Wont break the bank, foldable. Had one for a few years now and still in good condition.
The ESP jobbie is lasting me really well. Well made, drains quickly, reflective strips are very bright, really long cord. I can't really fault it. I've tried a few and this is the best so far.

Ive had a Fox and sabre one for years and never given them mush of a second thought. My syndicate went to using its own landing and fish care kit this year and got some of the Korda floating weigh slings and i must say i am really impressed with them. Great material and as others have said they need to drain really quickly when you lift them out of water, which the Korda one does too.

Sorry I can't help regarding a particular type of sling.
But out of interest have they given a set of instruction on how they want the sling to be used under the net.
Reason I ask is depending on the type of swim/platform and how far down the water is and the depth of the actual water its not always an easy task.
Also why does it have to be a floating sling, getting floating arms under a net can be another factor
