Its a point of view "balance" mate and there lays the problem when you're a country. You think it's generated here so spend more here , not an uncommon view last 40 year's. I'm sure Birmingham, Bristol, Belfast, Manchester, Glasgow etc would say more infrastructure spending, even close to London levels and they'd contribute more. It's a self fulfilling prophecy transport spend.

hopefully other councils will follow this lead. My mum lives on the boundary between the new proposed zone and the previous zone. She has dementia and i visit her twice a week to help with cooking etc, this will kill me financially along with my mum tbh. My small van is liable for a £12.50 fee as is the wifes small car, khan is killing london and the suburbs whilst ignoring the real knife and gang crime
