We don't have a player like mbappe though. Not since Michael Owen really in terms of that pace and direct running and finishing...
We lacked creativity against the USA. And yet there are players like foden and trent warming the bench. Southgate still thinks like a defender. Maddison could be an option too against Wales
Kane looks jaded. He's not had a shot on goal yet. Wilson deserves a try. He can't do worse can he?

Kane has scored more England goals than Owen already
He ain't getting the service and Southgate ain't doing him any favours with his tactics either!
Against teams who want a game I think we will do well, watching the yanks was like watching kids football, everybody was chasing the ball and then they just stuck everybody behind it. You should know what we are looking for, look at the scousers front line, pace, break, score!
If Kane is up there he needs people around him, we will get the world record for holding onto the ball and passing it around in our own half
Not to mention then looking for a break with a striker who the ref can run faster than, wrong tactics for Kane, he needs the ball to feet. Dare I say it, Rashford may even be a better option the way how they are playing, will he leave Kane out, nope. He really needs to make tactical subs, the other night it was virtually like for like other than Henderson having a good 5 minutes when he came on but then just faded away

Both closed eachother down very well and limited eachothers time to create anything.I can see Germany getting better as the tournament progresses,I hope I'm wrong though and the next round of results see them going home

It's interesting and quite an open tournament, anybody could win it, thats why I fancy us to go a long way, hopefully to the final.
Good 2nd half for the gerries, I would have liked to have seen them out of there but as mentioned you just know they will creep though
Best side I have seen is probably France, take away Mbappe and I think they were average
Looking at England, our 11 is as good as any other, probably better, can we play as a team and score goals, that's something else
