I normally use fluorocarbon where I can. But going onto a new water and will have to switch to mono. Just wondering what’s people’s thoughts on a good sinking mono. I used to use Touchdown but believe it’s been discontinued. Was never a fan of ESP synchro.

Boringly (I keep plugging it I know) . . PB Hybron in 0.40. . .sinks faster than the Titanic (and fluro as it happens)

Looking for a mono mate not a Fluorocarbon. For Fluoro I use FTX and can’t fault the stuff.

Do you use it yourself mate? Just been reading up about it and sounds very interesting. I’d personally go for the 0.40, so does jt act and behave like a normal mono?

lol Ryan 😂
Been using it since release . . .fantastic stuff and ditched fluro now . . .both 0.40 and 0.35 but on balance I prefer the 0.40 . . sinks really quick (great for slackline), casts waay better than fluro, limp and knots well. A little bit of stretch but much less than mono . . .good product IMO. Only downside is the price . . .but tbf it has gone down slightly since release and now available in 600M bulk spools
