Sharing Kiran's photo here.
I have a Century net that looks exactly like that, the same stainless going into the tiny spreader block and the same handle extension.
If it wasn't 1am I would go and grab my net and see if it has anything laser etched into it other than the Century name.

I've just been and taken a look at the Century site, specifically the net page
LINKY POO™ https://www.century.uk/shop/carp/landing-nets/
I can see you have the same silver spreader as I have which suggests to me it's either the stainless or the Titanium model. The Titanium one having the element abbreviation etched in as well as the Century name.
I hope that helps š

Thank you I know thatās itās one of the older models without the laser engraved century name on the spreader block and only has century written just above the the shrink wrap at the bottom of the handle.
From a search itās saying one of the pre 2019 models but canāt say which one any help appreciated thanks

Thanks for your help is yours one of the late NG models I think they started engraving them after the model I was looking at. Are they quite good and regards to the tape are you meaning that it tends to come off? Thanks

I've had three Century landing nets but they are all 'early' (post NG with the 6ft handle c/w stainless end cap and weigh hook)
I'd procrastinated over one or a Solar Bowloc for so long both went out of production, the Solar replacement wasn't getting good reviews so I bought the new Century net
The handles are bomb proof, hate to think how many times I've stood on them, used the extension a handull of times a when needed but IMO it's long and unwieldy
They're light enough at 6ft but definitely neeed a good float, even with the rubber bung in place they sink.
The original blurb was super light in the water but only because they had a wide mesh that leads under 3oz would drop through and hang up at the lip..
I replaced mine with a FS shallow mesh PDQ.
Can be a bit of a wrestle getting the pins into the small block on a cold day
Can't remember if the first one I bought was an NCS or NG and a second s/h as a 4th rod back-up..well mostly because I was a tartš
tbh the only difference is ta small logo NG/SP/NCS on the handle and extension.above the shrink tube

Wasn't long before the ends of the tape started to lift on either.
Then I went and lost one of the handles, packing up one day I think I laid it down the side of the roof bar.
No idea where that 'spear' went, I looked for weeks.
Could have been anywhere down the infamous Ecton track- I just hoped it wasn't somewhere on the A45
New handles were around £110 +post but I found another s/h net, with bronze FBS handle & 54" arms on the bay of evils.
I guess nobody liked the colour or wanted the longer arms- II got it for the opening bid of £75
I didn't either so stripped it back to bare carbon and revarnished it. Never used the 54" arms in anger either.
