Evening All,

I've joined a new lake and running rigs are banned on there (this is all I've used for many years) so it's now a case of changing things up. The lake can get quite weedy in the summer so I assume this is the reason. But there are no snags at all. I think the rules also say leads should eject on the take (something I've always been against unless absolutely necessary).

So... back to the drawing board... any suggestions appreciated as I'm a bit out of touch with this sort of thing!

I'd use an MCF lead clip and a length of tubing.

I use drop off in lines, I find them superior to lead clips.
Less tangles and better hooking capabilities.
