Paul " Nudey " Hunt of Canadian Carpin Holidays passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning after recently battling an aggressive form of Leukemia known as Acute Myeloid Leukemia .
Many of you will have fond memories of him from many Essex waters, Walthamstow ressies, Darenth, and guiding all over the St Lawrence river, and often Sturgeon fishing in B.C, and Buffalo & carp fishing in the. U.S.

I remember him from Darenth in the late ‘80’s.
He had just written an article about a carp fishing holiday to the Netherlands and I was telling him how the article made me want to go there to fish .. and I had no idea it was him when I said that.
He laughed and told me that he wrote it. (In those days carp fishing was a small world)
He seemed a top bloke.

went to Paul and Lisa`s place on the St Lawrence and even Sturgeon fishing on the Fraser. Bloody awful and shocking news :(
