I have just purchased a new deeper quest bait boat. In the box there is a replacement antenna for the boat and I know from past experience that these do tend to break quite easily. However, I cannot see a replacement antenna for the controller which also looks like a potential weak spot. Anybody know if you can buy them separately and how easy are they to replace? I have emailed deeper and they sent me a link but it seems this is for the boat antenna not the controller.

Just to note, the web chat can be hit and miss, sometimes a reply, sometimes not for a day or so, but they will be in touch.

Looking around not heard anyone saying they’d managed to break their antenna, they are hinged and fold away when not in use their is not much weight so I’d say you’d have to be pretty careless to break one.

On my boat I have a Flysky handset with folding similar antenna and never managed to break that.

Had confirmation from Deeper that they do not sell the controller antenna separately. Just have to make sure I am really careful with it otherwise it's a whole new controller if it breaks!

Can you unscrew the antenna from the controller, should be able to.

A very quick look at that controller and the antenna just looks like a screw in type. I'm fairy certain you'll be able to buy a generic one.

Not sure why Deeper wouldn't carry spares if so, they're bound to get multiple queries about this with gaining popularity, the 1st chink in their armour maybe.

If its generic I wonder how long it'll take them to source some?

My bets generic available for a few quid.

Just went on deeper chat it unscrews.
If the boats under warranty they replace for free.
