After a set of Delkims but not sure whether to go with the ev-r or the txi d v2, not much in the price but are the txi’s overcomplicated? Are they worth the extra or too gimmicky? Thanks

Well it does depend partly how technically able you are some folk should just stick to bottle tops or tinfoil tbh.

The Ds are much more adjustable and advanced so very useful if you fish different waters, margins, zigs, long range, or want very fine settings.

A good analogy is a deeper quest baitboat vs the deeper spark boat.

So if you want something that will deliver 8 / 10s but have a budget to stick to ideally keep the money in your pocket and pick the cheaper option

Txi d v2 are not over complicated at all now and that’s coming from someone who still struggles with my iPhone from time to time

Recently bought the V2's. Just familiarise yourself with instructions and play around. If budgeting an issue, go for them.

I have the V2s and don’t find them complicated. Sure, first time you set them up you’ll spend an hour fiddling with tone, beep speed, colours etc but you can just as well leave them as is out of the box and then all you’ll do is adjust volume and response (sensitivity) from the dials on the front.

I’ve basically not changed anything besides response ever since I first set them up… no need to, but if I did, a quick glance at the manual will remind me.
