As per title looking for a venue abroad next year not in France but a European country drive and survive not after monsters just get a few and tick a different country of the list

There is a Baitworks video on a small canal in Belgium indeed.
I know exactly where it is as i live about 1.5h away from it..
Been very busy over there with UK anglers, which the locals are not really happy with.
But don't let that put you off. Plenty of other canals over here in Belgium.
And don't ignore the canals in the north of France!
Darrell Peck has a Korda video on Youtube about fishing a canal over there.
Short-ish drive from Calais as well.
Fished it myself a few years ago. 👍

Just to push the thread back on track....yes I like Belgium. Only fished it once when invited out there by Tommy De Cleen. March 2002. I joined VBK to fish one of their lakes.
I need to go back sometime...note to self: Give up the day job!
