Is there nothing on the Carp Societys website? Failing that . Simon crow done a walk around Farriers on his YouTube channel. Pointing out the swims as he went.

They changed the numbers at least once whilst I had a ticket ! So that won’t help…..

There used to be a massive demand but its seems to have declined over the last few years.
Is the weed that bad or something else?

There's still a waiting list to my knowledge so demand is still there. I think there being less print out there advertising the captures means you hear about it less (it rarely comes up on my socials but used to see it weekly in Carp Talk). Also CS are not great at posting anymore and they did upset a lot of people with some of the fallout from Ashmead

Back in the day there was more demand due to the size of the fish which was more of a rarity then, there’s 40s and 50s in lots of waters now so it’s not as unique, still a great water though with some bangers in there.

If you watch Simon Crows vid on YouTube. He mentions spacers are available on the syndicate. No waiting list. Looks a lovely venue from the walk around he done. Can't remember how many Fortys the water holds now? But I'm sure it was at least a half dozen.. but who wants 40s these days...

Haven't watched a fishing video in a long time but I know Simon Crow has been doing a bit on CS waters for a few years now. Last I heard, from a CS bailiff was that there was still a list and to contact the office if I was interested in joining. Maybe a lot of tickets got dropped and the people on the list didn't take up the ticket, I've heard of that on a number of waters recently. There is still a great stock of big commons which is why I had the conversation
