Hi folks
Most of the brands seem to be doing a range of waterproof EVA luggage these days. Looks ideal for what I need as I need something that will stay waterproof in the boat I’ve had enough of soggy kit from the water in the bottom of the boat. Does anyone have any long term reviews on this stuff, I’m concerned about how durable it will be in the long term, does it stiffen, crack, perish etc?

I have retired neighbours who match fish 2 or 3 times a week who use the Preston EVA holdalls. They are used and abused and they seem quite happy, not heard any complaints. I asked them as I like the look of them.
I do have EVA, but its not used that much, certainly not abused, and my mind wondered from EVA as I prefer stackability.
In your position my own thoughts would wander towards rigid trunks (Plano etc), very polpular in the US for boat work. As tough though EVA is, it's still welded and the material could pinch/crack with flexing.

I've had the Fox Aquos 20l and 35l for a few years now.
I keep the 35 in the drop down bag section of my barrow and use it to stash my cooking equipment and a few random things like saws and an axe!
They haven't cracked or perished nor would I think they would.
They would be bob on for keeping stuff dry in a boat.

My experience with EVA gear is the zips always go first.

I have an Advanta eva box and really like it. Sits nicely on the front barrow shelf and is handy for lobbing bits and pieces in that can sit outside the brolly if needed.
Had mine over a year, gets used a lot and is showing no signs of wear, recommended.

I've had a selection of the Avid Stormsure? EVA boxes, they've been really good, but to be fair, they've only been in the rain a couple of times - but not had any problems with them, still as good as new after about 3 years use, they mostly stay in my van, one has clothes, one is full of bait and the other is full of that doesn't fit in my tackle bag...
