They still work the older they get. Even seems like they are better with age.

Just opened a pot of gpb1s from 2021 and have had excellent results on them.

New, Southerly or South Westerly winds are the most consistent for fish following them, IMO. Bring favourable fishing conditions too.

As with this weekend just gone, Northerlys throw me out a bit. I cannot get consistent results in them. I had the wind kinda coming at me at 45 degrees but no bites were had on my side of the pit. They came to the other bank, just off the wind but gets the majority of the sun till it sets.

I tend to think this is why fish end up in the middle of lakes a lot of the time as they can be ‘on’ winds no matter what direction they are blowing.

Interesting point on post #5 about them staying on a new wind for 5 days. What if the wind changes direction on day 3😂

Guys, Ive been using the CB15 for a couple of months now and it is a proper bit of kit. 5 star.

Perfect for 24-36 hour sessions. If you are mega organised with precooked meals in lunch boxes etc then it would do you for a 48 hour too.

Its not often that I have food left, but if you do then it stays fresh and be taken home rather than chucked. I have loaded cold cans into it on a Friday and they are still ice cold come Sunday.

I took advantage of Rob's offer to get a free plunge lid when I bought mine and that is another clever little feature; especially if you bung it in the freezer before using it. I use it to separate my second days food from the firsts.

It is neat and tidy for slipping onto the barrow, unlike big plastic cool boxes, and it generally has a nice aesthetic.

With equipment like this, in my book; it either works or it doesn't.

This works.

The only thing I could criticise, would be the other zip that goes around it, just seems a bit pointless.

9.9/10

Just the normal ones, I think? Suppose the X grip would be even better.

Im not specifically targeting it as such, but would like to catch it. Having targets, ruined my head fishing wise for a coupla years so I just stick to fishing for what comes my way now (mainly repeats, ha ha). The lakes are far too busy these days and I sometimes just have to angle as best as I can in what areas are available on a Saturday night.

Think I’ll just leave all the Dave’s to it. 😎

Aup,

I know that naming fish isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it happens and a lot of the time its how people identify targets (or fish they would like to catch).

What is the etiquette when someone incorrectly claims a fish?

Sad, I know but on ‘my’ lakes quite a few people are claiming a fish as the lakes biggy but down in weight, and also claiming fish to be named ones that aren’t?

A fish I have been after for a few years now has been claimed by 2 people, but it isn’t that fish.

Sad thing to get one’s knickers in a twist over but Id like to put these people right but not sure about it as I don’t really know them.

I could just leave them to it but its on bait makers insta pages, their pages etc and its triggered me!

They work exceptionally but I dont like sticking a nice fresh sharp hook into that hard rigid plastic.

Thinking anglers ones are good and stay put.
