hello all,

does any one use a trakker tempest rs 100 and use a solar sp c tec wide boy bed chair.

im wanting to buy rs 100 but unsure on space with this bed chair so any info would be great

Yes it fits fine with lots do spare space

I have the 100 and i would say its more of a 1.5 man so cant see you will have any issues.

I disagree.... I have a tempest 100 aquatex and a fox flatliner which isn't as wide as the solar. Yes, it fits ok, but doesn't leave a lot of spare room between the chair and the front of the bivvy. I had to buy a bedchair buddy style chair for when it's raining as there's not enough room for a chair off the bed. The RS isn't as deep as the EV and has less space from back to front.

Bedchair will fit fine - I had a Tempest V2 Bivvy and the RS100 is def deeper, wider and taller

I use 800mm SP C Tech mk1 Standard and I can get a SP C Tech Low chair side on at the foot of the bedchair in my RS100 no probs - however with a 900mm mk1 / 1000mm mk2 wideboy you won't . . .will def need a Combi Chair on the bed to maximise space or a more compact lightweight chair if using in the doorway etc that you can stash under the bed when not in use . . .

Just my opinion - as per Fivenils comment, RS100 is almost a 1.5man - pretty much a 125! RS150 is more like a 175! Decent head-height, loads of visibility, easy to erect, plenty of space for 48hrs, arguably too much - def an improvement over V2 . . .I bought a vapour shield as cba with skull caps - brilliant product
