Nutrabaits have just released their EnerGize boilie range and from reading the description I've got a feeling it will be a big hit with carp and barbel anglers alike.
It's something a bit different from the normal fishmeal, nut, and birdfood baits.

Here's the blurb -

Something totally different in that this is a hybrid bait, we've included a low temperature produced meat meal that's been manufactured for both salmon and bass farming, being both high protein and high amino profile that's proven a fantastic addition and one carp love. Add to this a blend of premium quality fish meals that work perfectly alongside the meat meals giving a perfect amino rich building block for the bait. Each being included to give the perfect balance between rich protein, solubility and digestibility. Add to this the addition of human food grade milk and whey proteins, Sluis CLO, along with vitamin, mineral and natural emulsifier package using only the finest ingredients available that gives a finished bait that is perfect for use throughout 12 months of the year.

Now comes a unique Nutrabaits spice blend that gives the bait a beautiful aroma and taste profile that you will find hard to put back on the shelf and screams carp.

To finish off we have the liquid food package, again rich amino profile and high protein along with the addition of our Garlic essential oil at low level that gives a fantastic aroma and taste profile, which will be catching big carp for many years to come.

Nothing much diffrent there by the looks of it. Be interesting to see what meat meal there using. Meat meals have been used in boilie production for years. I no a few beef based meals disappeared when Mad cow disease became a thing. I see Chicken meal is being used by anther bait company. Wouldnt be surprised if its that. As these type of new products seem to do rounds amongst companys. As for the other products all used in most bait company's baits. Quite a few Gatlic baits out there at the moment as well. Nothing new here, move along..388

I'd hazard a guess that the " meat " meal used in aquafeeds is nothing other than processed waste products. Chicken feet, feathers, heads. etc. No different really to the fishmeal industry. It certainly won't be chicken breast or beef steak powder.

I was surprised to read elsewhere the meat meal in bait is mostly powdered chicken feathers!

Yep, Keramine, been around years. Chicken feathers as an ingredient just doesn't sound as appealing though does it ? It is hydrolysed though, to break down the keratin and render it more soluble and digestible. On a global scale, sustainable protein is becoming an ever increasing issue. Lab grown protein is a thing now. It's even been approved for human consumption in Singapore and in certain states of America. Once this stuff is able to be mass produced cheaply, Im sure it will find it's way into aquafeed / angling baits.

As in the bait is the same as Moore's pro-stim or it uses the same meat meal?

The make up of it and final taste, texture, & flavor.
Moores is a little hotter and nutra has a bigger garlic punch to it.
Off the shelf I think they're really good baits
