My trusty solar compact spider bivvy has finally given up this weekend - zip has come off the ground sheet and one of the poles has broken. So I am now in the market for a new bivvy - I hate the thought of anything getting in whilst I'm asleep so it's got to have a sewn in groundsheet or zip in option. I am a little hesitant about the zip in groundsheets given the recent issue with my solar but it's still a possibility. I have seen the trakker SLX has a inner capsule and I was just wondering what people think of it? But I am also open to any other ideas? Cheers.

Really good for the money comes with a proper outer groundsheet as well. only slight negative is the crisp packet type inner groundsheet and the poles on mine were a bugger to get apart when it was new. Also for summer use the one vent on the back is not massive and may not be as good as other bivvys with double vents . Never used mine in summer just some food for thought.

I have the 150 variant which is slightly taller and you can get two bedchairs in it / or if you just want a bit more room.
Good package the only downside is it does not come with a clear window at the front should it rain but you can buy a clear window (Velcro on} which is worth getting.

I still have the Slx v3 plus, needed to let it repair 3x so far but still use it with a V4 plus overwrap if wife and kins also come fishing, the Slx 100 is very low imo check the Fox Frontier (not needed to get the new one) even de smallest frontier have more usefull inside space then the slx v3 and the material is alot better + very easy and fast to setup

If you want to keep out the insects the Frontier x+ with inner dome is perfect
